How does a bar flopping around inside the hollow bar strengthen anything? Maybe from bending in half but how would it stop it from twisting which is what the problem would be? Just think about it for around minute. Nothing is stopping the outer tube from twisting the inner tube is only connected at one end. So the outer tube can twist on top of the inner stem.
Its strengthens it against bending or breaking. I dont know about these kinds of quads but on a sport quad twisting the stem isn't something that happens often or ever really, most of the time you break or bend it sideways.
John: It doesn't flop around inside it, it's friction fit. And I was lead to believe it will keep the top portion above the upper bushing from bending under hard torque loads like when you contact the wall of a pit or in the thing ever ends up rubber side up.
John Smith you should just think about it again
If the inner bar is tight against the outer tube
The outer tube can't twist. Because when it twists? The inner diameter gets smaller.
With a bar inside it it won't allow it to twist.
Science
Now you know
WILDCAT D put a smaller straw in a bigger straw and twist . The outer straw will twist around the inner straw without the inner straw moving . Just because you think the outer stearing tube will apply pressure to the inner stearing tune doesn't mean it will lock onto it maybe if it was welded. So you think about it again friction is not enough to stop the twist go do it in real life then try your higher knowledge bullshit on me.
John Smith WRONG
put a metal bar inside a metal tube and try a twist it
It won't
Putting a straw into another straw is a stupid comparison
You're a special kind of stupid aren't you?
Does the steering stem now cover the digital screen?
What’s a good company to buy a good clutch for my 2008 Kawasaki brute force 750??
Soooo I'll see you at mudfest?
Hey love your channel.i have an ace and I think it would be cool if u guys did a polaris ace mud build
I'm tryn to build mine for mud ...check out my channel if u get a chance
I'll be doin a lift kit and taller tires next ..just been waterproofing and made snorkels and wat not
Cool idea Hank, let us know how it turns out! An Ace 900 XC would be a good starting point for a mud build...... or just drop a turbo in it lol......
Need part 8
It'll be up this Sunday.
Did you leave the Gen.1 7-bolt CVT or did you upgrade to the Gen2 13-bolt CVT? If you haven't upgraded, I suggest you do, before going racing. Those 7-bolt CVT covers are well known for warping under heat, we've replaced multiple, including the 7-bolt CVT on RenegadeOne, that ATVRider Magazine built, after a customer had purchased it from someone in Oregon.
Hey Tom, yeah we upgraded to the 13 bolt at MrRPM. It was a new parts supplier he was trying out so we didn't mention it incase we had any issues with it but it's helps up great.
When is episode 8 coming already!!!!
The big mud race is on network television next week and will be on our Channel the week after.
Where is EP 8?
Next episode ?
It seems
What happened to being a "low budget" build that I remember being mentioned in the first video, this is as all out as it gets if you ask me or anyone I know. This is for ballers and ballers only
It was always a budget friendly mud racing build. If you go to any sanctioned mud race event you'll see that this thing is about 50% of the cost of almost every rig racing thats on a newer gen chassis. Everything said and done we will have a fair bit less invested than what you can buy a new XMR for, and the completed build makes a stock XMR look like a 570 when raced. Yes if you just wanna go run mud on the weekends with the buddies a clutch kit, some good tires and a bit of a lift will do that for ya but we always set out to build a full race quad on a budget less than a new stock ATV.
When is another video coming out on the mud bike build
The Mud Race will be out this Sunday.
Whats the link for that steering stem
Sorry I forgot to add Cecco Racing to the list, they are there now cecco-racing.myshopify.com/collections/all
So what's cost this far sa?
I'm putting together the total and will have that posted for everyone shortly.
When is part 8 coming out?
This Sunday!
Meanwhile 3 weeks later still waiting on the next one........
Hi Dylan. Our CZcams schedule follows airings on our network schedule, so you'll see the rest of this build posted very soon. Thanks for sticking with it.
When is the race
The Mud Race airs on network television the week of October 15 and will be here on our channel the week after.
When is episode 8??
This coming Sunday!
Wide tires are key
For having fun in the mud yes, for racing in the mud no.
When you finish the bike go ride it with ostacruiser agin
we'll whens the next vid of the outlander build......?

Holy fuck make these vids longer
"Affordable"
The link you provided for the foot wells is wrong. The correct link is here www.fullthrottlepowersports.ca/fabrication.html
Your right, thanks for catching that!
You have money , I am not rich , this is most likely really expensive when I can go get a stock atv and do just fine and have a lot of fun
As I've stated a lot now...... this is cheaper than an XMR or High Lifter. Yes you can go run mud with a 1996 Polaris Explorer and have a blast, but if you wanna race, competitively you can't with a stock XMR or HighLifter. We built a competitive racer for a lot less than you would spend on a new bike and made significantly bigger HP, better performance and way better times in the mud.
666 views.... creepy also I should win the give away...not creepy
In your latest magazine edition you refer to this mud build as it being a 2008 Renegade!!! At the beginning of this mud build you refer to this project as being an 2008 Outlander!!! What is going on?? Why the change up?? Were Renegades being produced back in 2008?? It looks like you got your stories twisted around!! Looks like a Gen 1 Outlander to me! Just saying you know!!
Yeah unfortunately we had a miscommunication between the magazine crew and the TV folks. It did indeed start life as an Outlander 800.
Get a sherp
Then it's easy to go anywhere, we will leave that to Osta.
Should do a bruteforce with a tyrex bevel gear rox risers snorkel custom aluminum floor boards aluminum crushlox racked radiator programmer no lift on motor monsters swamp series exxhaust custom front and rear bumpers back up light and 10inch light bar with leds and synthetic winch and stock high compression kit oh yeah I already did that its a can am killer to this day
cookymudstar I wouldn’t say it’s a can-am killer 😑
This guad is the most ugly quad ever
Niceeee yuppie shop all clean an no oil spills no parts every ever like 90_ percent us that have no money an just do what we gotta do to get shit Dunn. Hell all them cabinets I probably can make it garage what you pay for that crap...
LoL, not quite, I have to clean it overtime we work in there. And you should see the bucket of oil absorber and shovel we keep in the corner. It does get cleaned for the shoots but that just keeps us form losing too much in the mess of it. Our personal garages....... different story.
I kind of like the neatness of it. You can find what you need when you need it. That is why they can build this in a few weeks and record it and edit the videos.
