Great video. Your previous video got me thinking. For prescription sun glasses (for walking, driving etc), would you get a gradient tint pair over regular full tint sunglasses? I have never tried them, but they seem good for low sun conditions/climate. Any obvious downsides? I wouldn't use them for sports or anything like that.

Personally, my favorite pairs that live in the car are gradient, because it gives you a lighter tint down low where you need it for the dash and reading, and a dark tint up high where the sky and sun are. No disadvanatge except tuning the location of the gradient change for it to be right can be a 🤬. 😂

Not sure if you've reviewed Akoni, they're priced similarly to JMM and T. Henri and offer similar styles and seem to be of equal quality, Ive not physically seen them so I wonder if you could rate the three brands if possible, first second and third or perhaps they're equal, thanks man

Akoni is also solid but a little too traditional for me. They’re all produced at comparable levels no doubt and akoni is in a great position thanks to buying designer labels to build their portfolio. Each are great at different things but in regards to overall construction quality it’s tit for tat. All 3 would last several lifetimes.

I have sunglasses from all 3 brands . In fact Akoni makes sunglasses for Akoni , Balmain & Valentino brands & I have sunglasses of all dese 3 brands also . I will put JMM on top followed by T. Henri & Balmain at no 2 , then Valentino at no 3 & Akoni at no 4 . In fact for acetate frames I put JMM on top after having & considering all ultra luxury brands dats chrome hearts , Cartier , Maybach, Dita , Matsuda .

@rajan4334 akoni balmain and Valentino are all made in the same house, so no surprise on this evaluation. Regardless. Good stuff and I will say JMM does great things with their lenses. T Henri is still superior in my eyes. Fit and balance as well as adjustability are superior. 🥂.

@@ThatGlassesGuy03 I just saw the first ad of this brand and i must say, in my eyes it looks like cheapo production copy of JMM, beginning with the frame design and ending with the pics on their website - the lady with the tongue on one of her knees for example. This ain't got no style ...

Two very different takes, but having worked with both I can tell you this are made at a much higher level of detail across the board, and the most exclusive versions of each push the boundaries in different ways. The attention to detail and quality is something you’ll never see on a website.
