    The e30 love , endless, thanks for sharing , the only thing I would do different is not tightening the tensioner bolt before rotating the engine two times , u tighten it after the two revelations.

    Some guides says that torx is reverse threaded, and you didint mentionet, so i just ensure is the t-50 torx lefty loosy or reverse threaded?

      @f.s.detailgarage7869  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Can’t remember off the top of my head but I would say if I didn’t state it was reverse threading then it’s probably lefty loosey righty tighty.

    Hey bro, when you wrapped that old belt around the cam pulley, how did it keep it from moving? Did you attach it to something or lean that vice grip against something? Couldn't make out what you were doing with that. Great video man!

    • @f.s.detailgarage7869
      @f.s.detailgarage7869  Před rokem +1

      I used the vice grips to clamp the belt tight around the pulley. Thank you man!

      @@f.s.detailgarage7869 I'm not following....why did you wrap the belt around the pulley? I thought you were using it to keep the pulley from turning but if the belt wasn't against something or whatever, I don't guess it would keep it from moving.... So what were you using the belt for???

    • @f.s.detailgarage7869
      @f.s.detailgarage7869  Před rokem +1

      I’m holding the cam gear in place so it doesn’t spin while breaking the bolt loose. I’m using the vise grips to clamp the belt tight to the cam gear then I hold the vise grips with one hand and break the bolt loose with the other hand.
