Our Lady of Kibeho: A warning to the world.

  • In November 1981 the blessed virgin mary began appearing to a Catholic school girl named Alphonsine Mumureke in Kibeho Rwanda. Our lady told Alphonsine to tell the world it was in need of conversion. That they lived their life as they pleased. And should life life for God and love one another.
Alphonsine began spreading the message, even going into ecstasy while our lady was present in front of her school mates
However, since Alphonsine was not known for being holy or pius, just a regular girl as
Immaculée IIlibagiza put it, she was not believed..

Pray the seven sorrows rosary. Let our lady's tears help us sharpen the blades of our rosaries so we may fight against the evil one, and free all from the shackles of sin, for she sheds them for all of us.

I read the book that Immaculee Ilibagiza wrote about the apparitions, 'Our Lady of Kibeho." She's a remarkable lady and sadly she lost her family in the genocide. The 7 Sorrows of Mary is a powerful devotion and it keeps peace in the family.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then most gracious advocate thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Oh clement, oh loving, oh sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us oh Holy Mother of God, that we be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

When you belong to a group that has suffered at the hands of another group, your calling as a Christian is not to punish, but to heal. Injustices must be addressed, but if you center yourself in the healing power of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and seek to emulate the strong yet gentle hand of Our Lady, there will be no hatred in how you correct injustice, but only love and healing that leaves both sides better off than before.
Consider her example at the wedding of Cana. Mary had, in her youth, been a victim of a terrible injustice: she was denied a proper wedding. Weddings were an even bigger deal in Bibilcal Judea and Galilee than they are today--a feast seven days long in honor of the bride and groom. But if the bride became pregnant before the wedding, there would be no wedding, although the couple would now be considered married. She would just move in with her husband without fanfare--everything that she had looked forward to would be denied her, and people would gaze on her with pity at best, condemnation at worst. Through no fault of her own, Mary was subjected to this deprivation and humiliation, when all she had done was accepted God's will--despite knowing how mortifying the result would be.
So here she is, invited to a wedding--the very thing unjustly denied to her! Did she find an excuse not to attend? No. Did she secretly gloat when the bride and groom ran out of wine? Far from it! She demanded that her son--God Himself!--perform his first miracle to spare the bride one tenth of the humiliation that she herself had suffered. Even though He said it wasn't His time she insisted that no, He had to reconsider--He had to step into His greatness right here, right now,. to do an amazing miraculous thing to spare this woman a minor embarrassment, that the bride hadn't planned well enough ahead for the wedding. Mary, who had bravely endured far worse humiliation than this, wanted to see no other bride suffer even a slight humiliation!
Sometimes you do get mad. Jesus got mad against the moneychangers in the temple. Let's put this in perspective. His parents came from Galilee, and anyone could tell a Galilean by their accent. Galileans were paid in Roman coins, not Judean ones, and since these had Roman deities stamped on them, they were unfit for buying offerings in the temple. So the money-changers would exchange Roman coins for Judean coins, taking a portion for themselves--a small percentage would be fair, after all. But was it a small portion? Joseph was a carpenter--a skilled laborer in a lucrative trade. And he was a just man, who would never slight a sacrifice if he could help it. So how did he wind up having to offer two turtledoves for the presentation of Jesus at the temple? In the sliding scale of sacrifices, that was second from the bottom! The only cheaper level was a wheaten cake, which is what homeless beggars offered. Jesus and His family faced ethnic discrimination--they weren't given a fair exchange, because Judeans despised Galileans, considering them not quite as Jewish as themselves.
So yes, Jesus lost His temper and did some property damage--against those actually and actively committing the offense. But he didn't kill them or call on God to strike them with lightning. And after raging against any who would make it harder for some to worship God in a temple that was supposed to be open to all Jews, he set about healing. The Bible is full of him not only physically healing Judeans, but also preaching lovingly to them, helping them learn how to behave rightly, and how to not just count on being full-blooded children of Abraham to save them.
I am multiracial, in a world that doesn't know what to do with people like me. I've experienced injustice from all sides. Should I punish all sides? When will the punishment end if we don't nail injustice to the cross instead of to each other? If Jesus died for my sins, He also died for the sins of those who have hurt me. Jesus is a healer, and bigotry is a disease. Shall I punish some beaten-down, impoverished white boy who feels that he has absolutely nothing left but the color of his skin? Or should I help him understand that God calls him to something completely different, some way that he could gain real worth in God's kingdom by finding a better way to honor his ancestors with acts of love? Should I punish a beaten-down Native American who finds my very existence, as a mixed-blood person, one final erosion of her identity? Or should I help her understand that her culture is more than skin-deep, that like every culture it has an amazing place in God's plan? Each identity is part of God's great art, like slivers of glass of different colors in a stained glass window, creating a sacred larger picture--including the blended pieces like me. Shall we shove any piece out? Shall we shatter each other? Or shall we pull together in love and do what that larger window is meant to do--testify to God's story as His light shines through us?
We are not called to be one grey uniformity, but neither are we called to be sharp and fragile shards, lying separate on the ground, a danger to ourselves and others. Every culture has holy possibilities and sinful possibilities in how to be itself, while loving each other. God has not left any of us out, as St. Peter saw in his vision of the feast.

Why do you assume that? Are you the one being biased? It takes months, years, decades for the RCC to go through the multiple rigorous processes of investigating visions, miracles, apparitions, etc. And no one immediately believes every single event as it pops up. Even the person’s friends and family will have doubts. Are they biased?

It is the Rosary of the Seven Sorrows of Mary (Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus). Very beautiful, tender and illuminating.
FYI: there’s a YT channel, Catholic Devotions, that has a Scripture reading prior to each of the Seven Sorrows. This is one of my favorite Rosaries to say. It’s about the seven sorrows that Mother Mary suffered with Jesus during His lifetime (ex.: Flight to Egypt when Jesus was a baby; when Herod sent his troops out to kill ALL baby boys up to the age of two years…just to get rid of the new king…Joseph fled to Egypt with Mary n Jesus to avoid the killings. )

“No one is listening to me”
    Mary
How can we listen to what we cannot hear?
We have a God who is truth, a primacy of truth… how can we just blindly accept something which could be a lie?
With respect to our blessed mother, we would all listen if we could all hear what she was saying.
There are plenty of faithful people who simply cannot in good conscience accept these apparitions, not because we are disobedient but because there are so many lies everywhere.

Just because He died on the Cross, doesn't mean we can keep our graces and still live a sinful life. We need to deny ourselves and take up our cross, and follow the Risen Messiah. That is why we confess to a priest (because he was bestowed graces to heal people spiritually and much more). Mary, and the rest of the Saints are not reprobates. @@user-ck5pc3vh5n And how do you know who's in hell and who isn't? 🤔
Your doctrine is on very shaky ground. Sin is trangression of God's law, including keeping His Sabbath on the 7th day (not "Sun"-day named in honour of the SUN and not the Son), and obeying God's commandments concerning the eating of unclean animals, which the non-Jew Noah knew about while boarding the clean and unclean animals on the Ark in differing numbers, the clean animals in larger numbers as they were permitted by God for food, and because Noah was OBEDIENT in this he found GRACE in the eyes of the LORD, as Christians have too today.
I never said Miriam is a reprobate, but she was a sinner like all mankind, although she was honoured by God in her special role, and thus "blessed among women," but she clearly described God as her SAVIOUR in the Magnificat, and God is a Saviour of sinners, not of the righteous.
She was a Jewish housewife after having normal marital relations with her husband Yosef as he did not divorce her, and they both went on to have other children as the Gospels clearly describes that when it says, "And are not His brothers and sisters with us?" He had a normal family life. 🙃 And Jewish at that!

@@scented-leafpelargonium3366 No, my abbreviated proclaimation to the Faith is described by these: EXTRA ECCLESIAM, NVLLA SALVS (There is no Salvation outside the Church), and the Nicene Creed. We identify who is in Heaven if that person died as a Faithful Catholic, and had died while staying graceful and pure. Anybody outside the Church is likely to be a reprobate, and cursed. Sin by definition is any offense and rejection of God's love. It is also a blasphemous claim that you believe that "Mary the Theotokos is a sinner", when she was preserved from Original Sin. God will NEVER manifest Himself in a impure place. It is also blasphemous to question her virginity when you know for a fact that MARY WAS A VIRGIN MIRACULOUSLY GIVING BIRTH TO THE MESSIAH. There is also absolutely no mention of them having children. Let's put it this way: IF SHE DID HAVE CHILDREN, WHY DON'T THE CATHOLIC AND ORTHODOX CHURCHES RECOGNIZE IT?? Do not EVER type that "Mary was a sinner" again!! Not only me, but Jesus are livid with blaspheming her virginity! You cannot be claiming to be a "Christian" if you disrespect Mary by calling her an "ordinary woman"! Quit cherrypicking Scripture. You're not intellectual when you cherrypick Scriptural verses. Biblical Judaism is different from talmudic judaism. Talmudic judaism despises Christ and Mary. You also wrongly call (what are known as) "DOGMAS" as Doctrines. Completely different. There being no salvation outside the Church is a dogmatic Truth, and so is the Nicene Creed.

I might as well as label you as repetitive and vilify you. Vain prayers are if they are not with intentionality, which many of us are intentional. Also, we don't idolize or worship Mary. We venerate her greatly since she participated in God's Divine Plan, and that took a lot of courage. You cannot be saved by Grace alone. Grace alone is a fiction. Works, Faith, Grace, Scripture, Christ's Guidance and His Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church are the only way for Salvation. Feeling stupid yet? A large majority of priests in the Vatican are gay, although many are not sexually active, a new book claims.
A total of about 80 percent of the most revered clerics in the Roman Catholic Church are homosexual despite the church’s opposition to gay rights, according to the extensively researched book by French journalist Frédéric Martel.
The gay priests adhere to an unspoken code called “the closet,” where it is understood that, for instance, a cardinal or bishop who denounces homosexuality is more likely to be gay, according to the book “In the Closet of the Vatican.”
Another controversial claim in the book is that Colombian Cardinal Alfonso López Trujillo defended the church’s positions on homosexuality while hiring male prostitutes, according to The Guardian.
