Finally Sky you have realised that you have access to many more potential customers vi a streaming service and not relying on antiquated Sat dishes. Thanks!! Now we just need access to all Sat dish based programs and maybe look at a better price.
I had the same issue re the remote not working. I opened thr battery compartment up and a small part of the factory paper was sitting between the battery and the terminal. The paper strip they put in to stop it working in transit. I pulled that out and the remote was already paired

New stream subscriber. At first I was over the moon but now add breaks become a continuous loop of the same adds. How long will this continue before if gets resolved.
Do you get the regional BBC and ITV channels, and can you select the region you want ?

they are fitting my full fibre into my flat now . sky stream all ready to connect . hope it is as easy as this .
I've full fibre,no problem with the remote but have spent an hour trying to connect to my WiFi still not connecting - I put the password in easily but still not working
Does this over Recording Features & how many individual Users can this Setup have in a large House / Apartment.
I have a SkyQ in the Den & individual Sky HD Boxes with Harddrives in the other Bed Rooms - each with their own User / CARD.
Since the Wife wants to record different Things versus the Teenage Daughter versus the Teenage Son versus the Little Boy.
Does the new Stream Box also have all the FreeView Channels like BBC, ITV, Channel 4, etc.?
And how does it look like with Streaming Content like, NetFlix, Paramount Plus, Disney Plus etc
OR
has Sky Stream also an AppleTV App, so I can run everything off a single Box?
I just got two of these neither of them work. The controls don’t effect the pucs so I can’t select the Wi-Fi and use them. What a result for 150 quid and 78 quid a month. No human customer service except in sales and only bots on Twitter..
My remote dosent work on lets go connected i can puck up nothing i get that same 2 boxes what to do ?

It’s not exactly as easy as this video made out it to be. It took me ages to work out how to open the remote control as paper was stuck in there, then I had issues with connecting the remote and then it also took me ages to get around the sound thing because it kept telling me to link speakers I didn’t have. Managed to get it to work eventually, but I feel like I’ve aged into an elderly woman just from the whole process
Same here they should show the very basics, the paper battery tag ? tore off with mine too with no way of finding out how to remove back of remote.

Hi I am struggling to swap hdmi input from the Sky glass to my Xbox. I have looked on the apps and inputs section and have found no way to change from my Sky Glass hdmi to Xbox hdmi. Does anyone know how i can fix this?

Despite what you say Mr Rye, it really ISN'T as easy or intuitive as you make out. I had a real struggle with my set-up and you have missed out the most CRUCIAL bit !!! How do you set up the password etc., BEFORE the remote has been linked to the Puck? Having overcome that eventually by managing to link the remote first, before the set-up completed, people need to know that you have to give a good long press on the buttons on the remote. On mine, there was no little LED light I could see that told me the signal from the remote was being read by the puck, so I had to reset the remote numerous times. I got to the point where the screen message said somethying like "Your Remote is now linked" but try as I might, pressing the Continue button made no difference. I got there in the end after a lot of frustration. Going through the various sections of the Home screen I looked for CZcams (which I use the most on my PC). Having selected CZcams on the tv, the screen went blank. So far, I haven't found a way to make this work. And I shouldn't have to mess about like this. IT SHOULD WORK and gives a poor impression to a new customer. I suggest you re-make this video, or make a new one which covers the various difficulties.
So pair the remote before connecting to WiFi. Is that what you're saying?
True, Software update ,
Mine is stuck at software update. Now i got it to lets get connected and it does nothing but then the background colour to the wifi password box is grey not blue. Somethings definitely wrong. Complete pants as usual. Sell you the dream and you get junk in return GRRRRRRR

@@davidwi7422 in my normally i need to wait to they start broadband from them,after works..trt turn it off and after on again and maybe works,that is how worked in my case
You missed the part where in order for the remote to work initially you have to push down 4 & 6 until your fingers bleed.

It's good you can set it up yourself, but why is the setup fee so high ? Surely it should be free.
To be honest it's not that expensive plus the difference is you actually own skystream unlike sky q where you don't own the box

Unfortunately this demo leaves out the most important bit - how to connect to the tv! This caused me so much headache that I rang Sky to cancel. Two phone calls later and I finally got it but with frustration at boiling point at that stage, I’m cancelling. I don’t have time to faff around with it - instructions should have been on the box.

Are sky going to remove ads from on demand content so I can watch in peace and what I'm paying for. Feeling a little ripped off being forced to see ads and having to fast forward to skip is a joke!
If you could fix all the bugs that would be ideal, to name 3:-
Audio turning off when audio codec changes
Subtitles don’t work
Unit turns off when paused on sky channels!
Bonkers that you can’t get the basics right! Will be returning to sky q shortly, all support do is try to get you to factory reset the unit!
My 1st question is
1. Are FTA channels available yes or no
2. How much delay is it on Sky stream compared to satellite?
3. How fast internet speed is required?
Let me know. If it is to much delay, i will stay with Sky Q

Utter garbage, how can you connect to the internet prior to pairing your remote? I am currently trying to install a replacement puck as the first one got too hot and kept switching off. Avoid this product like the plague.

Sky glass is absolutely terrible £1300 and sky ripped up my agreement as I’m Muslim and made me pay in one week they accused me of being an extremist because I changed my name , Cassius clay 🥊 changed his name , ignorant small minded bunch of bigots and for this much I could of got an OLED and for gaming it’s terrible , the volume control never worked right the software is terrible and the picture is bad and theHDR on the hdmi doesn’t work and the input lag is terrible it’s just so bad in every way except maybe the speakers and sound , oh and it developed light bleed after four weeks
Also wouldn’t help me even tho I’m disabled they sent paramedics to my house after wasting my whole Saturday rather than technical fault finding and helping me
