On the maintenance channel there is classical music playing in backround, could someone tell me what it is, thank you
How do you watch a programme that you didn’t record from the day before ie; catch up ?
Is UKTV available on Sky Glass?
It might be added to playlist but when you come to watch it back it's isn't there! Due to licensing restrictions and other boring reasons lots of stuff you add can't be watched back!! Love how they skirt around that.
Also Matt as head of product I would hit the sky glass forum, you will have no end of work. I had to unplug it 8 timesast weekend to get it working.

How do you delete things from your playlist?!
There is no reason to delete, it doesn’t take up storage space like with previous Sky products.
It is a streaming device, you just create a playlist and then play whatever you want to watch.
With Sky Q and Sky HD you had to maintain your storage space by deleting as these were hard copies on the storage drive.
I know that 2T is a lot of space, but if like my wife, you record lots of stuff to watch at a later date or just to save as it’s a one off show/concert, that 2T off recording space will eventuality fill up, where as with Sky Glass, nothing is actually stored on a hard drive, you are just tagging the show to a playlist, like an index card, which keeps the show/film/event available to watch at any time.

Sky you need to implement a better way of 'watching from start' for sports, otherwise you're gonna potentially see the score of the live match before you have time to hit watch from start. It's a bit self defeating
Does Sky respond to comments here? Only reason I have sky is for the F1. Considering this unit streams and doesn’t record can I access coverage at any time, even if it’s just minutes after live coverage has started like I can if I recorded it? When I have been away and gone to sky go to watch a race an hour or so after it’s shown it won’t be available for a good 6-7 hrs to view. Is it the same with Glass?
Sky don't really mention this, but you can actually record some channels. I've recorded a lot of movies when I had Sky Cinema and when those movies left the service, I had it due to it being "Recorded". They just store it on their server for you. I'm a Sky Stream subscriber
Hi can we watch normal TV or channel 1,2,3,etc
I was so looking forward to sky glass, then I saw that you can't record live TV, i totally understand its a 'streaming' tv but most channels especially none sky ones they can sometimes take hours or days to upload content.
I thought, perhaps wrongly this was going to be aimed at all those people who can't have a dish for whatever reason but I really think it should of incorporated live TV recording ,
I love my sky q and have been with sky for around 18 years and always get new gear so I'm gutted I won't be getting this, maybe and hopefully it could be changed in the future.
Sky dropped a big clanger with Sky Glass,could have been so much better...

Audio turning off when audio codec changes
Subtitles don’t work
Unit turns off when paused on sky channels!
Bonkers that you can’t get the basics right! Will be returning to sky q shortly, all support do is try to get you to factory reset the unit!
How can I record
It's a bit complicated but basically when something is live on TV, just click on it and press the + button. It will record that program for you and store it in their server for you to watch any time you want. I've done this many times with Sky Stream
In some ways, an upgrade but in some ways a downgrade, how is this planner better than recordings, are we to simply except we have to watch saved programmes with adverts in them and not fast forward through unless we pay you more for the service

You don’t record, playlist is basically a download on steam but you can restart it from the beginning.
I am really dissappoted had sky glass delived lovley tele but it didnt have my favorite tv channels which i love i no their is hundreds of channels but didnt include my favorite so i had to send back and keep on with my sox box so no very dissapointed
i just love how they want us to go with glass or stream now and not rely on a dish just an internet connection but i have been waiting for 3 years for them to put the internet speeds up in my area i could of understood if i was in the North of the country but i am 20 minutes from Central London by train and live in London's largest Bourgh.
I have the 65in sky glass and i was upset that I could not record my favourite shows but after 4 weeks i have got over it.

Received sky glass , delivery perfect , but instructions on how to set up etc none existing and instructions on line is for all people that are able to understand online instructions no idiots guide or anything that is helpful to old (elderly) people that don’t understand the jargon they use these days where is the ABC instructions with descriptive drawings etc gone like we used to get

Rubbish. Had it one day and couldn't stand it. Rang sky and arranged for it to go straight back and stick with sky Q. Much better.
Sky Glass is one of the worst products ever made. Everytime you rewind or forward something your streaming, you get 5 mins of adverts. Rewind 5 seconds, watch 5 mins of ads. Forward 10 seconds, another 5 mins of ads. Imagine rewinding or forwarding 10 times, that's 50 mins of ads, plus the standard ads too. What a joke of a product.
