    I haven’t mentioned it yet but another thing that makes you two so good is how agreeable you are. On your own you are each credible but when you agree like when you say that’s exactly right those little tradition between you two are gold. They just make it all that much more reassuring.
    Awesome video this one.

    Awesome!! Will be giving this all a try! Love the "smile" idea. Should be doing it the whole round because if you're out golfing what's not to smile about, right?! Could be in much worse places. Thanks for the vids.

    At the top of the backswing you want the hands to start down, not out. Is this something one needs to train themselves to do or should it be a reaction resulting from a proper set up and backswing?

    That left monitor needs levelling! Lol, the best channel on CZcams by a mile, I’ve only got a thousand subs but I mentioned you in my video as the best instruction out there

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  Před 5 lety +1

      Haha those monitors are a constant reminder of how misleading video can be... they are dead level but they telescope and tilt. So unless they are pushed flush against the wall, they always look wonky on camera. The golf swing has the same illusion too, lol.
      We really appreciate the support, brother!!!

    Tip one I do and tip 2 I need to work on more. That is one move I know I consciously do not do and I know I am leaving distance behind. How far are you from Atlanta? My son lives down there. I used to live in Stone Mountain back in the early 70's.

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  Před 5 lety +1

      There is def some distance still in you tank then.
      We are up in Cartersville about 50 miles north of the city.

    Love your channel and dealing with all the bad tips/instruction out there, however, like the GEARs segments much better because I can see empirical evidence. Keep using this to prove your points, otherwise you are little different than hundreds/thousands of other channels out there telling you different ways to swing. Assume you spent a lot of money on the technology so why not use it to prove your instruction points all the time?

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  Před 5 lety

      So if we use gears in a bunch of our videos but don't in some, we're just like the thousands of other channels who don't use gears at all? And because gears costs north of $50K, we should give ALL the information away for or we haven't proven our point?

    I had a stroke and I lost distance. I use to have a swing speed of 110 mph. Since I had my stroke 4 months ago my swing speed dropped to the low 90s. How can I get it back to near 110 mph. Thanks. I'm 59 years old. Jeff Petroske

    Hi, I have been practicing the forward movement in slow motion when the club reaches shoulder height. I watched Tour Pros. This move is not in the hips only. It appears to be more of a lean of the body forward. I saw a scratch golfer up close and that appears to me to be what he is dong. Your thoughts?

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  Před 4 lety

      You're exactly right. We've done a number of videos on the channel here showing exactly that with the numbers to go along with how much and when it happens👍. Great observation!

    When you tee the ball higher and a bit forward how to you keep from hitting it left?

      Bill, in this case of the driver, you can orient your stance slightly to the right. Shaun co-authored a book - "Swing Tips you should forget", in which Chapter 1 talks about standing slightly open for short irons, and slightly closed for Driver.

    I hit too much on the upswing, how do I hit "just" on the upswing?

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  Před 5 lety

      A great way to manage the "up" is to manage the amount of rearward spine tilt. We see way too many golfers adding tilt in to start the downswing.

    What I am trying to say is you have spent the money on the technology and I can see that some people may be turned off by just seeing avatars, but I would combine your personal instruction with gears to reinforce what teaching points you are trying to make. Again, I am a supporter, and the reason is, by using gears you show pro vs. am. and bring to light some of the bad information out there on swings. Just trying to provide helpful feedback from my opinion.

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf  Před 5 lety

      I see where you're coming from now, and we very much appreciate your support!
      We try to strike a balance between too many gears and too many without gears. Then sometimes we don't have a choice because of the weather on shooting days. We like doing the gears content, but those videos are very labor intensive to produce because we have to pull the swings out of the native gears software.
      All that to say, we want to share as much as we can, but we also can't do every video with a gears element.
