    This seems to partially contradict your other videos where you mention to shift your left hip and left shoulder forward (righty player) How can you shift your body forward without having to lose connection to the wall you're mentioning?

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf Před 15 hodinami

      @@lsamparkl yes, the entire pelvis shifts forward. The left side of the pelvis isn’t on the wall at the top, so I’m not sure why you’re thinking it should stay connected. We’ve shown the his happening in many videos since we start the channel. You might be misunderstanding something (I’m happy to help) if you think any of our videos contradict this fact.

    That three finger drill is brilliant guys. I just practiced it a bunch and filmed it in slo-mo, and sure enough..perfect lag and shaft lean without trying to create or manufacture anything. I expanded the drill a bit by doing it with three fingers, then adding a fourth finger from each hand and trying to recreate the same feel, then fifth finger etc. Then I filmed that and analyzed it, seeing if I reach the same positions with each added finger. What a great drill! It's a shame so many golf pros lead students down a bad rabbit-hole of hold this and pre-set that. Good lag and shaft lean is the natural consequence of a good fundamental swing.

    Does this allow for the bottom-line effect of allowing the clubhead to be swung/thrown? The player is now able to feel both the clubhead and the face. the weight at the end of the shaft and the speed of the clubhead. The clubhead moves faster; feels faster. At the end of the downswing, the body is moving in response to the clubhead/weight on the end of the club and carries the player into the finish. This seems similar to throwing a baseball/football; instincts will do it without having to think about 15 different things. It’s like developing the feel of casting a sinker on the end of a fishing rod; flow, not hit. The weight of the clubhead pulls the player into the finish!

  • @PinkFZeppelin

    Your older driver swing arm depth video shows otherwise.

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf Před 4 dny

      Nope, that’s incorrect. It shows the same thing just from a static (camera doesn’t move) DTL and static top view. What we’re showing here is relative to the shoulders, not the camera. It’s the same thing from different views.

  • @PinkFZeppelin
    @PinkFZeppelin Před 4 dny

    You have a newer video where you state that the hands never move past the shoulder.

    • @AthleticMotionGolf
      @AthleticMotionGolf Před 4 dny

      Depth from this DTL view is a factor of rotation. The camera does not move with the shoulder turn so you cannot see where the hands are relative to the shoulder. We also don’t say the “hands never move past the shoulder.” We use the lead wrist/watch for reference.

    This is a load of bally boll*cks!!!! You can't get there by pulling !!!! You can't get there by pushing!!!! You can only get there by throwing !!!! Swing the whole club to P2 using the pivot ie feel like you are throwing the mass of the body. Let the clubhead release to P5. Stop. Let the club go by relaxing the grip. It's just like throwing a Ball folks. The arms are switched off and only respond , to the pull of gravity, which will bring your arms and clubhead through. This is something that AMG, With all their sofisticated data analysis , can't pick up on camera. The secret of golf, is all about the moves, reactions, and results, that we can't so easily perceive 😊
