I say the STIHL BG86C because I have one. I got mine 4 months ago for Christmas. Plus I just love STIHL better.
Very good review Calvin, thank you. I had a Stihl blower, the previous version BG-85, and it lasted for years. I never owned any Husqvarna equipment, although they sell both brands here in the US, however they are supposed to be reliable machines.
Good review man, looking forward to part two.
Husky ...better starting and way more powerful and almost no vibration with the large rubber grommets.....Husky all the way!!
Yes. I have a newer Stihl RS94 Trimmer and it gives me issues compared to the Husky trimmer. The Stihl won't idle for long in most conditions but the Husky, good as gold!!!
Have owned a Husky 525BX for around four years now used commercially , and never had any issues. considering the Stihl BG now only because all my other equipment is Stihl and have a excellent dealer nearby. Both brands make quality products.
Still have my 525BX and it's great. I've tried the BG86 and it's weak in comparison... Also slightly heavier and has the annoying non centered nozzle which makes the machine want to turn.
great vid again keep them coming please
I have the Husqvarna blower which was bough second hand with very little use... I find it one of the hardest things to start so much so I beaver use it and I don’t think I will ever buy that make again. It’s Stihl all the way for me as every Stihl tool I have will start without issue. This is my personal preference. But any Calvin an other great video
Someone sold you a duff, I have the 525BX and it's the easiest blower to start, it also out performs the Stihl all day long! The Stihl HS86 C is a great vac though. I use them both every day!
Get it looked at by a workshop. Had a 525 for almost 4 years of 5 or 6 days a week commercial use. Still starts like a dream.
Cheers Calvin great video 😎🏴
I have the 86 blower vac, and the 525BX. 86 is a great vac but the Husky is a better blower in my opinion!!
Is there any blower vac more powerful or more worthy you would recommend over the 86 or 525BX
I can't believe the engineers who designed this didn't have a rear hook for a shoulder strap.
Looking at getting the BG86 or the honda HHB 25 4 stroke anyone had the honda ?
Really good video, husqvarna definitely started more easily!
Stihl is better
And also that means the stihl has more compression. Compression is how much the engine is warn out
After more than a couple of years using the 525BX commercially, it's not just better than the 86C, it's in a different league! Still using the 86C as well, but only as a vac, for which it is excellent!
What makes the 525BX in a different league to the 86C? I am deciding between these 2 mentioned and the (ECHO PB-2520: Maximum Air Volume (CFM) 452, Maximum air speed (kmph) 274) and how do they all compare to the Ego LB7654E-2 Electric with 1300 M3/H?
My 86c air filter doesn't look like that. Mines flat. Wonder when the part was updated and if I can get the one that looks like yours.
You got an older model
hi calvin I have one off the same blower and I would not want to swop it for the over one will let you now the one I have after part 2
Husqvarna. Lol
@@CalvinThomas05 yep
I bought a parker blower and that seems to be very good for £82.50
I brought one about a year ago and sold it within a few weeks... Ran horrible and had terrible vibration.
525bx anyday
The stihl has the blower front pipe on upside down
Hi fix it up. Thanks for that info but It doesn't make any difference. It's just a round tube. Cheers Calvin
stihl would cost you way more for parts, air cleaner alone is lots of $$$, husky air cleaner is two stage filter and a lot less $$$...the rubber engine mounts on the husky isolate vibrations with more efficiency...if you use it for many hrs every day it makes a big diff.
I'm a stihl man lol just my choice
I find the husqvarna 525 to be more powerful than the stihl and importantly no blow back recoil so easy on the arms.
I have run two bg86 one of my own and a estate owned one, the 12 month old estate machine is a pig to start, my 18 month old husqvarna still runs and starts like new.
My own bg86 I sold on at a farm sale as it became very temperamental.
The stihls are also prone to the engine stop cable wearing through, about £16 to replace and a easy self fix but a poor design.
I would choose the husqvarna any day personally.
Thanks, good to know.
Is it better than echo
Thanks. Was trying to decide on a 2nd blower. Will prob buy a 2nd 525 on that advice.
Too many fucking ADS !
Stihl je bolji
You didn't even take them outside and blow leaves with them? You just got them out of the box and you're claiming the Stihl is the winner without a test? Trash video.
Apologies, I see you've made two separate videos and you did test them outside. Nice work!
