Thank you for posting this. Very intrigued to try it since the sauce includes tamarind paste. I have absolutely perfected my korma and butter chicken so recipes that have the same flavor profiles as those but slightly different preparations are not my fav… this one seems very different so I’m excited to try!
I've never made meatball curry. We love our curries and your recipes never disappoint! Wishing you and your beautiful family happiness and good health. Thank you for your consistently wonderful videos! You are appreciated! :-)
Love the way of your presentation.. Such Indian dishes are really attractive in look and also in taste...meatball curry is one of them..thanks a lot for sharing such kind of amazing recipe...
Looks absolutely delicious! Could a little bit of sugar be added to the sauce (to balance out the slight sourness of the tamarind) or would that make it too sweet?
When mom says its good you know its going to be good ! My dearly departed first wife also used to mark some recipies as yuk... we will never make them again : ] Hope some great days to you and your family Karen !
@@KravingsFoodAdventures Hi Karen..m back! Finally made this curry n trust me it was amazing..takes time and has good amount of ingredients, but the end product is worth it!
I would love to make this, and a lot more Indian food. But all those specialty ingredients. I would have to get a lot of that stuff off the Internet. I live alone, and I just can’t tie up that much of my food budget on specialty items like that. Are there any pre made paste, or spice blends you would suggest?
I totally agree with you Barry. This recipe had so many ingredients even for me! There are a lot of great pastes and marinades out there, especially for the more generic curries like Kormas & Butter Chicken. There's a bunch of good ones in my Ingredient list on Amazon - www.amazon.ca/shop/kravings
Mayuri, thanks for your feedback, I'm aware of the difference however I have not spelled it Couscous anywhere - if you look at the description, it clearly says 'khus khus' Also, the meatballs are exactly the size of golf balls. A golf ball is a standard size all over the world, however a 'medium lemon' is not a standard size of reference.
What's in a name and how it is spelt as long as you know what it is. If the balls she turned out are like golf balls you make yours the way you like seeing them. Let's be nice.
Dinner tonight thanks for coming to my rescue!👍
Any time!
Love all East Indian recipes! Thanks for sharing your moms recipe, those are extra special!

instead of browning the meat and potatoes which is not necessary spend that time making thick and thin coconut milk. It's a world of difference.
Thanks will try that
Poppy seeds are khus khus. Not Couscous.
Golf balls are quite big. Please say medium sized lemons

Too many things
I agree - it has many ingredients but totally worth it!
