  • Simman station is very important for passing PLAB2. Simman and Simwoman are not dummies, they are actually living human beings, and they can mimic many real life signs and symptoms. It can be tricky to multitask when you do not know exactly what is expected from you. Watch this video to know how you should perform when you see such critically unwell patient.
    Where you are: You are FY 2 doctor in the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics
    Who the patient is: Mrs Samantha Mark, 37 year-old is admitted for the delivery of her fourth child.
    Other information about the patient: Mrs Mark is multigravida and has delivered her 4th child about an hour ago, and she is bleeding profusely per vaginally. Nurse has told you that she already changed 2 bed sheets, and given some IV fluids, however the bleeding is not improved and patient is feeling unwell now.
    What you must do: Please see Mrs Mark and manage her appropriately.
