  • This is Foster's welding in Mebane NC. WOW the yard art is amazing, he takes welding with scrap metal to the next level. All his welding projects are works of art. He sells he artwork, for big money world wide.

I've know Mr.Foster since he was in grade school. He grew up in War, WV and graduated from Big Creek High School. He comes from a fine hard-working family. I attended church with his parents. So glad he has done so well. He does amazing work.

Having a knowledge base of the material that you are covering is key to a good video. Some of these projects are interesting, but most lack proportion and proper application.

Very cool stuff. That siege machine is a trebuchet (tray-boo-shay). My son and I made one as a Science Fair project. Lots smaller - it flung marshmallows!

Just about every welder is an "artist" on the side. Things are slow, you're bored between jobs,so you start working with stuff from your junk iron pile. I made large multiple bird feeder stations, plant stands, arched swing holders, things like that. More you weld the bigger the junk iron pile gets so you always have raw materials. Lots of fun actually and people will buy most anything so there is always a market

Yes I agree Mr. Foster has a steady stream of customers in his shop. But told me that he loves making art work and selling them at trade fairs. This is he passion more so than just welding or fixing people broken machinery. I wish I could weld, but never learned how too.
