Mario Zagallo's death reported on RTÉ News (6th January 2024)

RTÉ News reports on the death of legendary Brazilian football player and manager Mario Zagallo, who remains the only person to win four FIFA World Cups, winning twice as a player in 1958 and 1962, once as manager in 1970, and once as assistant manager in 1994. Zagallo is also one of only three men to win the FIFA World Cup as both player and manager, the other two being Germany's Franz Beckenbauer and France's Didier Deschamps. Beckenbauer himself would die just two days after Zagallo at the age of 78.
