    If you turn off the machine while it's holding vacuum, does the valve open and the air comes back in the chamber, or it's possible to mantain vacuum for a longer period of time, say 10 minutes?
    there are some preparation which require vacuum for 10 minutes without interruption, so repeated cycles wouldn't help.

    • @georgcantor7172
      @georgcantor7172 Před 2 lety

      With my Vacuum Chamber, I plugged it into a power strip. When the machine is on and vacuuming, and I turn off the machine using the power strip, the lid stays firmly stuck to the machine, but the Vacuum Meter needle goes back to zero. When I switch the power strip back on, the machine resets and the numbers in the Control Panel go back to the pre-set values, and I hear a rush of air go back into the chamber and the lid opens up.

  • @pcelectronicsaudiorepairan4164

    OH I forgot a side note, during Vacuum stage, it uses about 350-370 Watts, In Heating it jumps to 1200 Watts, then cooling around 20 Watts and finally, for some odd reason I don't know yet, I hear another coil humming and consuming about 20 Watts. This unit is using as much juice as a toaster or hair dryer, so it really needs it's own breaker on the panel, or a slightly used breaker.

  • @pcelectronicsaudiorepairan4164

    Hi H.O.,
    I've isolated the smell to the plastic hoses. It's not the oil. I'm going to replace all the hoses. Check the hose from the solenoid, mine is spinning freely even with the white sealer they used.
    I will let you know how the project pans out, if you're interested.

      @pcelectronicsaudiorepairan4164 Před 3 lety +1

      @@HighOctane101 Good Morning H.O.
      Yes, the hoses are crap and outgas. However, the Lexan lid on the chamber also is outgassing, as are the coated interior surfaces. So, there is no way to suppress the smell.
      Also, check your fittings. Mine are sealed with what looks and feels like white glue (Elmer's), instead of (more expensive) silicone sealer. Notice there are no clamps either, and the fittings in the solenoid block are freewheeling and not tight and/or sealed. So it's only a matter of time...a short time before total failure and my vacuum gauge already has failed.
      I'm going to request a refund in a few minutes. This thing is built, sadly, like a POC.
      Thanks and good luck with yours!

      Doing nothing wrong, when placing high moisture things under vacuum it is lowering the boiling point of water. So if you look close you will see steam bubbles. Hi H.O.
    See if this relates...
    Good day Mate,
    Yes indeed the China Stench. It's the lousy way they produce plastics and all things industrial. The plastics mostly are very cheap and are outgassing. It will never go away.
    My own unit, a newer color of the exact same units, stink out loud. They work ok, but man-oh-day, you can't have them in a living area, but must keep them outside in a shed or in the basement away from people (and pets).
    Today's price was $312.00 for the newest DZ-260S, which concerning build quality, by our standards, sucks royally. Everything smells like 100 year old fish oil, the fan cut-out is as sharp as a razor, the stainless steel is unsympathetically flimsy and cheap, the front panel electronics are flexed with each button press due to the cheapness of the steel front panel.
    Several of the connector screws (holding the wiring) were only finger tight, and I had the foresight to check and re-tighten them to avert the fire situation.
    My next steps may be to redesign the unit with a clean pump, and a PLC to control the solenoids. Maybe, because this model uses an air bladder to raise the heater which presses the bag between the heater bar and upper glued to the lid, silicone (stinky) compression piece. And once more, every piece of plastic including the oil and wiring, stink terrible.
    Look at it this way, when the Chinese officials want goods that don't smell, they import them. The crap they produce, comes here.
    Thanks for the video,
    LG

I bought things from sellers on ebay before who dragged their feet about giving me a refund and who eventually stopped replying to my messages altogether. I had to complain to Ebay Customer Service just before the deadline to complain expired. It was as if these particular ebay sellers were purposefully dragging it out, hoping I was too stupid to know about the ebay deadline, and hoping that the deadline would expire so that I wouldn't be able to complain to ebay. At least you weren't put through that! (BTW, for others reading this. Many sellers (about 96%) on ebay are honest, but there are a handful who aren't. And they'll try to take advantage of you. @@gee191991 yep and couldn’t get hold of anybody to fix the problem it wouldn’t even turn on I spent full price for this product and couldn’t even talk to a live person! So if you are looking to purchase this item DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Their are other companies that have a similar model to this one you will pay more but you get what you pay for! The 250.00 I paid is money lost because this company doesn’t have personnel to help you. I’m sure they do in China but just not here in America. So now I Owen a 250.00 doorstop

      @@HighOctane101 good luck trying to get a hold of somebody I even tried to the website and couldn’t do it so now I have a $250 doorstop! I’m glad you got one that worked me personally I wouldn’t purchase anything else from this company ever the phone numbers that you look up on your call and nobody answers you leave messages no one returns your calls. Do you go to the website? No place to leave a message I think you’re really lucky. I just wanted a product to work you know the little oil plastic bottle that the oil came in well whoever filled the oil when it didn’t screw the lid on tight and soaked the packaging throughout. The directions are a piece of paper folded in half and that’s it looks like a third grader did it that’s just to let you know that I actually did buy this. I highly recommend if you purchase another one to go somewhere else and I pray that your machine doesn’t break down because if it does, you’re screwed.

      @@christopherlauter9403 yeah I’m sure I was lucky. Other than the oil everywhere on yours , did it not run or vac down. Why did it not work, just curious? Thanks
