I very much like the idea of "technical" videos about equipment and its effects in-game - including, but not limited to, gun handling. Movement, terrain etc would also be nice to have detailed with examples.

true words. i can see the point on skill to do so as he is speading positivity in the game. this is why i can accept this. you can't win them all but skill at least doesn't blame others when he loses. the blaming on own team is to hear him say "enemy team was just better".
Video about the accuracy differences would be a very nice idea! Many of us might now also consider which bounty or bond equipment to buy when the BP season ends, so this would be very valuable.

I personally think the accuracy is a combination of too many factors like moving dispersion and turret turning dispersion, it would be difficult to measure the impact of such dispersion values in a real-world scenario which is meaningful
jup and even factors like tanks armor, more armor you have, closer to the enemy you can play, more accurate you will be
good points to think on how to do the experiment. so how would you do it to get compareable results? make some suggestions or ask at least the question on "how to eleminate" or "how to meassure" influences. other than just downgrading theidea from start.
As that 1st game progressed, I imagined what would occur if you ever met a baboon and the score was 14 to 14. What could you both do. Never expected you would meet 2 at the very end.

that would be a great idea - no one has done it yet so it will be unique and very helpful
If you would do this for a few hundred shots in every config (in a training room or so) we could also try and get some stable prediction about standard deviation in the aim circle. Would need recording for the aim point and the point of impact on the targets though.
People have already done that.
That game on mines is like a one in a dozen for the 140. Most of the time sniping with involves shots getting eaten by tracks and bounces because the shell went to the very edge of the reticle

Excellent idea to test the accuracy!!! Try with different tanks that have the same stats to see wether there is a hidden stat at play too, as well as with standand/premium equipment

4tankers and dog did a great analysis of accuracy but that was 18 months back so well worth a update with the latest equipment.

Seeing what difference those equipments make would surely be quite awesome. But you'd need to increase sample size by quite a bit and have a standardized test to make the information somewhat reliable.
Youd be surprised how much more of my snapshots from defender hit more than other more "accurate" on paper tanks lol

Is there a mod that would record the accuracy parameters for each shot with certain equipment, and then keep that running for 6 months in the background to build up plenty of data with minimal effort on your part? Would love to see that be an incentive to try out, for example, replacing rammer with vstab, and see how the tanks stats are (is that extra dpm worth more than the accuracy on this tank? Probably. On other tanks? Maybe not!)

I had my highest damage game 2 days ago in my 140 at 9.8k on xbox. Its been 2 marked forever, I wanna 3 mark it along with some other 2 marked tanks. And ggs Skill
Obj 140 was on my grinding list,but after the 40K season I switched to 430U.
Maybe I'll grind my way to the 140 if I can get that 3D style

Currently on console and I've been on the Cold War tank grind, was thinking of which line to grind and this obj 140 seems good!
Im on pc and have 100 battles with it, its soo accurate and really good pen with standard ammo

@skill good idea for accuracy video. I have suggestion for you. I think that many tanks with bad handling shoot even more accurate using Stabilizer, ventilation and rotation mechanism. Even better than with improved aiming. for example T57 with stabilizer and rotation mechanism is much better than stabilizer and improved aiming. I am looking forward for your testing
Yes someone has done it before. It’s been awhile though. 4tankersanddog used to do actual testing on modules. Yes continue his work.

4TankersAndDog did some testing as part of his "Tanking /w Science!" series, but it's been over a year since his last one. And it was before field mods, IIRC. So, more data is always good. You should definitely do the tests for a video.

hi skill, a lesser known youtuber has done a lot of the equipment testing already his name is 4tankersanddog. He has a tanking with science series that has lots of info.
Accuracy test would be interesting but might take you a long time to film. I'd say 4 Tankers and a Dog have maybe come closest to that sort of thing before.

I think there is too much rng in the game for this video, sure you can spot a difference in the aiming circle size but where the shell actually goes within the circle, do you pen, how much dmg is done, are all the options equal ? Does the shell have the same chance to go into each point of the circle ? Too many variables for a conclusive test
I chose the obj 430 U line because the armour profile is more forgiving for me but every time I go against obj. 140 I smack my head because dpm is insane

The 140 is an epic tank. It's vert well rounded and can play in any map or situation. I highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't have it
