This weeks video is special and all about a very popular Azorean traditional dance, The Chamarrita! Join us in Oakville at the Filarmonica house, as the 2 groups from Faial & Pico pay us a visit.
The Portuguese communities in this area of Ontario, including Oakville have very strong Portuguese tradition and roots. We belong to 2 amazing countries; Canada & Portugal...we are fortunate & thankful for that.

I was hoping that I could do some Square Dance on the Azores, but I guess this comes close enough. I just need to learn it as an adult 😀.
