The worst part is, you could stand in front of her with a detailed, drawn out presentation breaking down everything as to why she isn't Zendaya. Her warped personality wouldn't allow her to accept that. Had to be hell having an argument with her.
I'm not even a fan (to old to follow celebrities) but from what I've seen Zendaya has personality that oozes genuine positive energy and seems always happy to just be having fun with life and is liked by her coworkers.

His initial testimony wasn’t good. The Heard team did a number on him - they would have been better off not using him the first time. but when the Depp team brought him back in rebuttal, he hit it out of the park.

Aside from aquaman I have never seen any other movie she was in. I didn’t know her name until recently with all the media and as someone who grew up surrounded by different forms of neglect and abuse I find it sickening that someone would ever pretend to have lived through these situations that actual people have gone through or to laugh and gaslight so much with the absolute belief she would win because she was female. This was such a bad direction to go for AH. She was married to Johnny who loved her dearly and put up with the behavior. He wanted to see her succeed and be respected. She told him she didn't just want to be a sex symbol. When he gave her some direction she got defensive.
He DIDN'T put up with the behavior. He wanted a divorce and this is why she did all of this.

When this trial came up I got interested and I looked her up, I saw her play a small role in an old movie with Demi Moore & Dave Duchoveny once but I could barely remember anything about her other than that they had a teen daughter in the film. This lawyer is amazing! She's so clear and succinct. This testimony pretty much sums up AH's career...truth is that she was really never popular because she is a really bad actor. She used to be quite beautiful but she hasn't aged well at all! Her stardom was that she was Johnny's wife. Now her fame is that she is a narcissistic, untalented, unfaithful, untruthful aging nobody. If she had any talent, her career would survive. But she doesn't have talent and her looks are long gone to Saskatchewan!

I still don't know how Amber got awarded anything. Everything the lawyer said in that statement was spot on. Amber and her friends conspired to call the cops on Johnny and make it look like he was an abuser. One of the jurors must've been stupid. I heard one juror say most of them thought Depp should've been awarded more but they had to come to an agreement. Also on another note, Ms. Arnold was a moron.
Because the claim that depps side made was nearly impossible for them to prove , I’m sure she did everything Depp said she did and it’s clear she is on the wrong end of the Bat Shit Crazy scale … it still was a tough sell on proving the one claim she one .

I think one thing to remember when statements like this occur, he did nothing to her career, she did this to herself. He simply spoke about what happened to him. Putting the phrase he/his team destroyed, no she did this.
Brandon Routh is the best example. He was in DCEU and played Superman. His career did not follow the trajectory cited by her expert witness.
The same could be said with the actor who played ciclops, he has continued to work but he is not an A lister. Actually pretty much the X-Men cast excepting Hugh Jackman and Hallie berry (and I still don't think they are that up in the ranking) became these huge stars, they are actors and they do continue to work but not huge blockbusters. I think they have had a pretty nice career after all. Neither did Kristin who actually was the costar in the 3 spiderman movies and who was in the main publicity poster, she is not an A lister, she is a wonderful actress who continues to act. This woman needs a reality check because even after all she is not listening 😂

He did an excellent job and I was surprised the jury awarded her the 2.5 on the Walden statements because he proved it had nothing to do with any decrease in salary. It was very interesting though.
No research needed. All the people she named are main character actors or lead supporting.. they can't be lost to a crowd. Amber is literally a background chick that sometimes hits the middle ground. Roles are often offered to women and young men based on their performance in the audition they do on their knees, and thats been true in Hollywood probably forever...and many of them have no issue with that so I won't judge any involved party. @@stevenbristol7832 I agree that that was very common practice, "the casting couch" , in previous years but I thought in these enlightened days it was no longer 'the norm'.
Perhaps I didn't make myself clear; my surprise was that casting is now apparently much more about social media presence and behaviour and these fascinating Q scores. Of course we have seen actors and directors and others dropped from projects because of rumour, conjecture and accusation but it never occurred to me that examination of someone's social media etc. would form part of the process. I will view castings in a very different way now.

@jaye Clements the scores don't indicate their casting success, but their likeability and therefore their popularity. So could be the same for male and female roles
@@EchoSappho I agree although the gentleman testifying clearly stated that these scores were crucial in the decision about who to cast. Ability and talent were not even mentioned. It's all about how the public perceive someone and ultimately about 'bums on seats' = £.
I just felt that a direct 'like for like ' comparison would have been more straightforward especially as, it seems to me, that we are far more forgiving of males than females in the public arena. That's OUR shame, as viewers and consumers, but it appears to be the case.

She still thinks she is up there. In the interview she said people see two Hollywood Brats lol No B, you are not Hollywood. You were an extra and did a bigger role because Johnny got it for you. Nothing more than an extra who was with the right person.
I honestly didn’t know who she was when I watched Aquaman and didn’t even realize that it was her who played the character “Mera,” or that she was Johnny Depp’s ex-wife. I only learned her name when I saw a news segment about her filing a Temporary Restraining Order, accusing Johnny Depp of DV and also mentioned that she played “Mera” in Aquaman. Otherwise I still wouldn’t have had a clue that she played in Aquaman. That’s the only movie I’ve watched that included her in the cast.
(During the trial, I learned that AH appeared in Justice League for a few seconds) When I was watching the movie, I was more focused on the storyline of Aquaman’s family - especially the love story of his father (Temuera Morrison) & mother (Nicole Kidman), his half brother Orhm (Patrick Wilson), and the fiercely loyal Wulko (Willem Dafoe) who trained him to be the next King of Atlantis. AH’s interpretation of “Mera” came across as though she was trying to be a fierce, independent warrior who was hoping to be a superhero on the same level as Aquaman. She failed miserably, came across physically stiff and for me, her dialogue sounded forced as if she was reading her lines. Like many, I didn’t pick up on any real chemistry between Aquaman & Mera. IMHO, she should have taken lessons from Nicole Kidman who, naturally, nailed her performance as Queen Atianna. Queen Atianna was indeed a fierce warrior who knew when to be fearless, strong, confident but also extremely loving, passionate, soft and protective of the ones she loved.
BTW - Shout out to Graham McTavish (King Atlann) = Dwalin /The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies. One of my all-time favorite movie franchises!!! Also the only Dwarf who looks awesome in a kilt!!
Also a note: In all fairness, other than AH, I was not familiar with Temuera Morrison, the actor who portrayed Thomas Curry/Aquaman’s father.

I remember seeing Amber Heard in the 2008 movie 'Never Back Down' and 'Zombieland'.......Even though I'm not a great fan of 'Zendaya' she is far a better actor than Ms Heard. And for the record Zendaya is 11 years younger than Ms Heard........ Amber Heard had everything with Johnny Depp and she simply threw it all away....

Turd was never a really known actor . Even after Aquaman , I don’t feel like people really loved her or wanted more of her. Her energy is just not likeable. I only knew her because Johnny Depp hooked up with Turd. Didn’t even think she was all that pretty, especially compared to his other partners, like Kate or Vanessa!
