Despite being just two miles apart, King Charles didn’t have time in his diary to meet his estranged son Prince Harry in London. Our royal experts reveal what was going on behind the scenes that put a dramatic end to the will-they-won’t-they-speculation.
The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden says that the King is recognising that his youngest son only brings ‘unhappiness’ and ‘drama’ and reveals why he thinks the family’s latest move will be ‘very painful’ for Prince Harry. Meanwhile the Mail on Sunday’s Charlotte Griffiths goes even further pointing out the under-the-radar way that the Royal Family are ‘pushing back hard’ against the Duke of Sussex, saying ‘this is war here’.

It seems as though "gang up on Harry" has become a British obsession. As a family therapist I see the situation as truly sad, especially for the two forgotten grandchildren who will remember these slights and cruel treatment as adults.

As a family therapist, is that what you would encourage them to do ? I'd guess he's no worse than other prior spoiled members of the family. King Charles is way more affectionate with all of his family members than any of my family was. No one in my family hugged or kissed each other. I thought Harry has always complained about how cold his father was, and saying he was ignored. I have come to the conclusion that Harry is the problem.

My parents and their generation grew up during The Great Depression and both of their mothers lost their husbands around 1932 and the mothers had to work 2 jobs so they had no energy or time to show affection and they had to walk everywhere, their jobs, the store, to school for the kids. It is an insult to every pilot out there that have trained and trained and done the work to earn that certification. The Apache helicopter is one of the hardest to fly. My husband is a pilot and can pilot numerous types of craft. I’ve seen him train, study, go to more training and update his skills his entire career. William is the pilot that should be lauded in that family. Not H.

Exactly. I admire him for doing as much as he can. Cancer is sometimes a cruel reminder of our mortality and can make one not want to waste a minute of the time we have. It's each individual's decision. I have lived nearly 20 years enduring life with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. I sometimes am tempted to sit and not move because of the pain. But that's just not me. Everyone is different. We should be free to decide for ourselves what we will endure in order to still have life be meaningful and fulfilling. Some days I can't do things physically, so I pray for every Soul in the World, along with many other things. I'm still doing something of VALUE. Charles strikes me as someone who is a workaholic, conscientious and social. It's fitting for him to want to get back to work and do as much as he can. Look at his Mother, the Queen......she worked up until the day she died -- with Cancer! In her LATE NINETIES!! He is following her impeccable example. God Rest her Soul 😇--

As a former cancer patient survivor, King Charles needs to take care of himself during his treatments. These treatments can make you feel okay to terrible and no stress is needed aka Harry. My prayers go to the king and queen as well as Princess Catherine and her family. Harry and his wife need to leave the royal family alone. They flew away and should stay away

I saw a video of William flying his helicopter in from a distance and hovered over a swimming pool, then he lowered it and since it had pontoons on the bottom where skids would be and he set the helicopter down on the pool and it floated. And he got out and we also saw his graduation with the entire class and Catherine was there to watch him and he received his pilots wings. Shortly after that Harry was filmed setting in a copter and it went up in the air a few feet and back down on the ground, nothing as hard as landing on water. Then he opened the door and got out and you could see another man sitting in the other seat and I think it was all an act. I don’t think he ever passed but he tried to fake it so everybody would think he was as smart as William but he just isn’t, flying isn’t just about pulling back on the stick, there is a lot more too it, it is very technical and difficult. You have to be book smart too and put in the effort to learn it.

Lady Susan Hussey on the other hand was a long-standing, trusted and experienced aide to the late Queen for close on 60 years.

Richard absolutely reflected my own views when he commented that William needs to be very careful about reducing the number of royal patronages when he eventually becomes King.
It's not about what William wants - rather it is (or at least should be) about the needs and wants of his British and Commonwealth subjects. Otherwise, the royals will surely become far less relevant. 😊

As a cancer survivor. When I was told and went through my treatment . I just wanted my life to go back to normal. I didn't want cancer to be my whole life. I'm sure the King just wants to keep his life as normal as possible. Most people with cancer don't want to be labeled and seen as " the person with cancer" . They want to be themselves, and getting back to as normal a life as possible helps.

Meghan arrived on the flight from LA TO LHR, she stayed in hiding in the Windsor lounge at the airport until Harry arrived. Then they boarded the aircraft to fly them to Nigeria, however the aircraft pilot fell ill and their flight was delayed.
