Theory: What if they got Matt's blood from when he went to the hospital after they went to location 3 cause remember we all thought that hospital was really sus and probably how they got other people's DNA by people who went there as well. Also, if the two are missing are Woods' and Sam's then maybe they weren't able to them as they are the only ones who drank the antidote.
Yeah, the doctor said that they were gonna send out some of Matt's blood to a higher level facility.

I feel like they brushed over an important part in that location. Woods had found a jar, which I couldn’t really see what it was, but the team was saying it’s crystals. Deb died crystallized! There’s gotta be something there that relates the crystals to the lantern (and the thing that I wanna say was called splintering). If we are going to solve Deb’s murder, then we need to know about the lantern, and finding crystals may lead us there

QOTD: I miss the old times when videos were literally an hour long! They had so much content in them, and we got to actually be immersed in the universe! Now, I feel like I start getting immersed, and then it’s “Next Time” kind of a buzz kill. And I always know when it’s about to end bc the cool stuff starts happening. Let the cool stuff play out, bring the audience in and get invested. I understand the Cliffhanger strategy, but I personally don’t enjoy it. DONT GET ME WRONG… I STILL LOVE THE CONTENT! I look forward to it all the time! I’ve been here since day one, and there’s no chance of me leaving!

@@Studiepi yah woods made a great point. The helmets looks just like the hazmats when he too the van to the cops. He said he was getting tested for a while so its kinda obvious that they would take his blood. Even if the hazmats weren't syntec its possible that they did get a hold of it.

when he went to the hospital the doctor said he sent off a blood sample? this could be that sample - we don’t know how long this location was out of use
It's possible they sent a blood sample but I don't think the doctor's knew where the sample was going to.

Also, I can't be the only one who kept staring at the vials just behind the old PC and wondering if any of it was serum. It's so weirdly lit up and placed, I'm surprised the team didn't pick any of them up.

I think there was a blue vial there, looked like an antadote and there was also a black and green vial but the green one had an unusual bottle design, smaller top

I miss the 863 videos that were 45mins to an hour once a week. I feel that all the inconsistencies in when episodes are posted, the recapping and the 15 minute short eps have really pulled me out of the immersiveness that these videos had at the start. I like where things have led story wise, but honestly I'd prefer an hour episode once a week than the constant changing of scheduling and the super short videos

Production comment:
This totally looks like an escape room. The fact that the team is using escape rooms and shunted houses as locations is a fantastic thing because it totally helps raise their production value.
QOTD: One thing I miss is the way you produced the story during season 0, you focused on one object each video and really went in depth with each new evidence you found. Now a days it is much less focused in and it is harder to feel like subject four can solve anything. If anything, make the videos based on one piece of evidence and make it seem as though subject 4 is more involved than we currently are.
They could make a Shorts channel for that. One video for everyone evidence. And a pinned comment about when the first found it, what video it first showed up in, things like that... oh, they can name the channel The Evidence Box!
I agree with the original comment no need to put in in a short just focus on the story ask us questions about certain things this was a good episode I like when then make sets and get into the story but so much evidence is a lot to take in
Eh, it'd be boring since for the last 2 years we've been watching faster paced videos and this series has a set time it will end, and it's on the first few days of 2024 so there's not enough time to have one evidence videos AND they are now in a hurry about Deb's murder.
Okay, I LOVE seeing the team find new unknown evidence to take back. Giving me some serious S0/1 vibes. Collecting all the evidence to keep it out of the “wrong hands” and how Woods is always the “one to ask” if we should open something or check something out. And he’s always the common sense voice of reason. Lol.
QOTD: I feel like your explanation segments have been a bit too frequent. I miss being able to just be completely immersed in the story without interruptions to clarify even when you all know we’ve been binging every episode 💀

QOTD: It feels like things are moving too fast, I miss the older episodes where there was a couple of episodes leading to a bigger discovery. Meticulously search through every detail and every possible out come. I like the longer episodes too, 20 mins feels like a good length. Also a lot of things just don’t feel realistic too. I get it’s a CZcams channel and not like a full fledged film production set, but like the light and the dry ice at the bottom of the cooler was cool and all but just not like the old episodes. I know you guys work hard on these too and you have so many people telling you how you can make it better but keep up the hard work!

@@user-mama_thomas the Channel name is Mathias not 863 if you want to skip those kind of videos you can. The Channel name used to be 863 but he liked not only doing 863 because it makes him happy. I’m not trying to argue btw I’m just stating because I know I really enjoyed the old style videos and even in the beginning (not now) I skipped all the 863 videos because I really enjoyed the vlogs because they made me laugh everyday but of course now I’m totally invested but I think a mix of both would be great! :)
@Mama Thomas it feels a lot more immersive when it's more realistic, I loved when all the videos were action packed but I also miss the old vlogs they would do at hi5 when it was a bigger company.
Since you guys are making Shorts now here's a recommendation:
1. Make a different, only shorts channel (and name it The Evidence Box maybe)
2. Make the videos on the evidence you guys found. One evidence one short.
3. Include info like; when did you guys first found it, which video it was first featured in, etc. Pinned in the comments section of that video.
This will help us the subject 4 a lot and that will help you guys in return.

I love how important finding and retrieving serum was last season and now it’s clearly on display in location 7 and they don’t bat an eye at it. that really shows how much more severe the threat is now, awesome storytelling! Keep up the amazing work!

I really miss the OG Vlog styled stuff, something about the casualness of checking in on folks and sometimes seeing some extremely hilarious stuff and the short skit styled videos like the one with Tanner and the BANGS, that one had me in stitches.

Theory: I've been thinking about this for a while and with the shelf where everything keeps disappearing, maybe those things are being sent back to their timeline and that's how the entries keep appearing in the books. You should try to see if you can put a note on that shelf and see if someone sends a note back from whatever time line they are in. Because isn't project pegasus all about time travel? Also, if this was hypothetically true, that would mean that the new mountaineer Is from the past and traveled in time with Scott. But the thing is that it's past Scott seeing by how young he is so you guys should try to find present Scott to see if this is actually true

I love that the locations are coming back, really shows how much Syntec really built-up over the years.
While I think there are solid theories for how they might have gotten Matt’s DNA technically it can be extracted from anything from nail clippings to a hair follicle, so it’s actually relatively easy if you have the right equipment (and given it’s Syntec I think it’s fair to assume they had the money for the right equipment)
