This time, after finding the map on the hood of the Mountaineer, the team decides to buck up and head to the location that was labeled "3 a.m" and see exactly what's going on. The discovery itself is shocking, but the questions it opens as well are even more disconcerting: it changes EVERYTHING.

Ok so I can why everyone is freaking out about woods taking the antidote before Matt, but we always say Matt is that dad so it makes sense he would want to protect woods and make him take the antidote

Theory: What if the phantom was someone else who worked with all of them at syntec. That this phantom was in love with Deb and Nelson exploited that, using him to his advantage. Turning this worker into a phantom to get Wes out of the picture. The phantom might have wanted to be in Wesâs shoes, being in love with Deb and being part of the trio. That phantom may have seen Wes having everything he wanted (love and success). This might explain why he also has all of Wesâs documents as he is pretending to be Wes. Just a thought?

I totally agree, I really like the more vlog based content, to me it fells more "real" and in this episode it worked so sooo well. Made me sit on the egde of the chair like a real scaredy-cat. I almost got a freaking heart attack even though I already knew someone would show up đ

Theory: Wes is actually alive. The grave is a distraction to make Deb think that Wes is dead, and Nelson is really using him as a phantom (which is why his name was on all those documents in the RV). He was shot, but Nelson is pumping him full of serum to keep him alive to help him in his fight against Deb and Project 863.

I really loved this. Felt just like season one with that production quality of season two. It didn't feel too scripted, seemed totally possible, even throwing in some season one music (I believe) it was amazing. Really brought back that natural feeling to it. When the whole video is what's going on and nothing else- it tends to seem more like only story- but when it is like a vlog, it seems like it is actually happening along your other daily activities and in your lives.
agree the last 4 have really been kinda "off" this one was nice. I dont think its their fault its just some of the things they want to happen in the story with the budget and frame work they have come off as "cheap" they have made it work, but their are some episodes where its really hard to suspend disbelief
Theory time: the phantom is at the grave at 3am he ainât there for Matt and them heâs there for the grave. (I took a photo and will post it on spellbound+ and this theory there too) he seems to be mourning like he lost someone Bc he doesnât start chasing them or running he just stands there and turns to look at them. Another thing They didnât see a car, which means he is either parked elsewhere OR he walked to the grave, which could also mean his one of his hideouts is there

Theory - Deb named the project "project 863" after the date that her lover was murdered in cold blood by one of nelsons phantoms or Nelson himself and she didn't tell you as she didn't want to remember her love is dead along with Wes so she created project 863 to honour him and get justice for him, his family and her but also she didn't tell you as it could have messed up the mission .

I love how theyâre including Bailey and Quinn!! having more people on the team makes it more interesting. those two can be the tag team people or and subject four!! my only critique is that I kind of wish the gravestone was dirtier and they had to like rub off the dirt to see the numbers and everything. With the case they find it give the illusion that itâs been there for a while but the case that they found that was really cool but Super scary and realistically would be a terrible thing to take with because youâre not sure if like you know the rest of their body parts or something weird could be in it.

I was thinking maybe that Wes actually did die. Because someone maybe syphus took it too far and murdered Wes. And that's what started project 863 as a way to try to bring him back. When they found out Wes was the one murdered I was so sad I was kind of hoping that they would save Wes and then Wes and Deb would get back together. Thatâs so sad
We donât have any âconcreteâ evidence that is Wes. We only have a (cheesy) quasi tomb stone with numbers on it. If they would have dug up the body, and gotten dna samples for complete verification, then Iâd say weâd have reason to fear the worse for Wes. Everything up to this point is still theory, conjecture and here say.
The show that I love is back! This weekâs episode is exactly what I was hoping to get. It felt more grounded in the real world, there was some light hearted content leading up to the bigger suspenseful reveals and the music was great as well! These vlog moments felt natural unlike the weird dope or nope bit moments like weâve seen the past few videos.

Theory: Deb (probably) knows that Wes has been murdered by Nelson. Hence why she created Project 863 to seek vengeance for his murder
The thing is though, she has said she doesn't know where he is, if she was working with the undercover cop, she would of probably already had this info then to give to them, it could be true, but a more likely idea is that whoever was in the car in the murder tape, quickly drove and burried Wes, put the grave stone there, since they seem to want to probably let Deb know who was there, with the 015. With Deb thinking that Wes has disappeared, these phantoms appearing and probably seeing one used Wes details for some things, assumed the worst and went into hiding to protect herself and that is where we are now, Deb clueless about Wes' actual fate, thinking he either turn against her or is somewhere ploting.

i think itâs because â08/06/03â is the date that wes âdiedâ when in reality, he got shot and syphus used lifeâs blood to keep him alive and under his thumb and made it look like he was murdered. in debâs mind, wes DID die that day; just not physically. hence, project 863

Maybe nelson is trying to find the serums to prevent deb from doing some mass murder type thing, something super messed up. Sheâs posing as the nice guy to get Matt, Sam and woods to hunt the serum before nelson finds it, maybe Wes found out her plan, she offed him and is framing nelson, which may explain why heâs off the grid, possibly trying to prove its deb. whilst also hunting the serum to destroy it, or maybe deb infected nelson to try keep him on her leash but he escaped, which is why heâs hunting and trying to recreate the serums. If nelson really is a killer then he would have just offed Matt Sam and woods and stole all their serum finding equipment as well as the serums theyâve found⊠why go through all the trouble?

Ok, given what was found, 4 possible outcomes come to mind.
1. Wes was the one shot in the Mountaineer and buried at that location to make it seem he just vanished.
2. It is a decoy to throw anyone looking for Wes off the trail.
3. Wes is the phantom and he faked his own death to cover up he is the phantom.
4. Wes and Syphus are actually working together to further the experiments and this grave is nothing but a red herring

I don't think that's true cuz remember that the phantom threatened Matt by texting him that Matt would not want him to tell all of this to Nelson and then we found out that the person Matt was texting is actually the phantom and not Nelson

Okay here is a theory,
We know that Deb and Wes were in a relationship. What if before Deb and Wes became a âthingâ Deb was dating/cheating on Nelson. Then later on Deb found out she was pregnant with Wes being the father. Nelson found out and was blinded with rage. Therefor, Nelson Murdered Wes and broke things off with Deb.(This would explain why we have found so many kids items. Also why Nelson called Deb âmanipulativeâ)

Farfetched but here's my theory: The phantom is Wes, but Wes killed whoever was in the mountaineer and faked his own death by burying whoever was killed in the grave and marked it 015. The big hole in my theory is what the motive behind that would be...

In the we are 863 video, someone referenced that lifeâs blood brings you back from the dead. This would make sense because theres a tombstone for wesley and of what we think, the phantom is wesley too. Therefore someone injected wes with the serum (lifes blood) and brought him back to life and the phantom who visited the grave is wes.
The way he said woods wake up is like my mom waking me up for school.

Remember how Deb talked about not allowing something to happen again when talking to Wes? What if she was talking about Wes getting killed? She knew the date so she called the project the date of Wes' murder in order to remember the date. Also, people are talking about Nelson being the killer, if that is true what if Nelson somehow did not mean to kill Wes and goes to the grave at a certain time, under the cover of darkness, to visit Wes' grave.
I kind of wish they'd talk to the phantom. Instead of running every time, why not shout something at him. Even something as simple as, "who are you??" Or "what do you want?"
Agree I was also kinda disappointed that they didnât do what you just said.

theory: wes and deb never broke up, wes died while they were still dating. deb tells everyone they broke up so she doesnât have to remember the tragic night her lover was murdered. the only reason project 863 came together is to take justice and revenge for wes. the only reason she wonât tell you is cause knowing itâs wes and knowing details about the murder could jeopardize the project

Theory: Syphus hired someone to kill Wes and Deb was heart broken and used the serum to bring him to life. I do still believe that the phantom is Wes bc why would a phantom just mourn a dead guy's grave. I think Wes is going to his grave with someone else in it

The fact that the phantom was their and was just standing their menacingly was so scary and creepy.
I gotta say I think switching it up like this is a great idea. A more laid back atmosphere makes the tension feel more real when it comes, and makes the breaks in-between refreshing
