    Been rewatching this game over and over again. The passion, fight, atmosphere - this is Everton. This is what we have been missing. Surely rafas getting sacked and I wish to see Dunc take up atleast until the end of the season.

    Im Portuguese but Everton is my team since I were a kid that saw a blue team facing the mighty liverpool, loosing but putting up a very hard winning. From that day on Everton FC became my team!

    I watch this video regularly and I get goosebumps every single time I see Dunc exiting the tunnel and entering the pitch as manager. I may or may not also get teary eyed. Love that man.

    You cannot buy genuine passion.... Even if dunc doesn't get the job full time he should be no2 at the very least he is 100% everton and we need that represented at a much higher level than underneath silva

      I am not sure what was in his mind, if he didn't want to shake hand it is unfortuatley far away from sportsmanship ethic, in addittion Kurt is a very nice guy and did a lot for our club and in fact wished to stay.

    For me this was the defining moment in Everton Football Club in recent times. Like when Heath got the winner against Oxford in '83-84. An absolute legend changed the mood of 40,000+ people in 90 mins. Every single player wore their heart on their sleeve and played with passion, and came off the field with the biggest smile . Since this day we've gone from strength to strength. Duncan Ferguson you should be proud of what you achieved and will long live in the memory of Evertonians.

    Whether or not Duncan becomes our full time manager, one thing is for sure, you could see in the players eyes in the tunnel, that if they didnt perform on the pitch, they would be held accountable and nobody wants an angry Big Dunc !!!

    There is not another manager in the premier league no any league that has the passion that the big lad has.I know in his own words he said its only one game, that's true, but half a dozen games like that and he deserves a go at a full-time job(i know he's got a full-time job but you know the one I mean).Well done boys and well done Duncan, let's keep it on the boil

    I went to this game and I’ve been to many Everton games and this was by far the best. Me and my dad singing and having a great time. By far my best moment as a blue

    Duncan lowkey sparked the everton enthusiasm that you see now. Even when we had a manager sacked and a few years of bad results. He showed his passion and it was contagious.

      If he done as Ole though... I'm all for giving him a few games but I think passion can only get you so far.. a big help but Away matches when you don't have the fans being as amazing as they were against Chelsea. One day I hope he gets it, I think he would be a brilliant no.2, getting involved and learn about the managerial aspect

    I'm no Everton fan but that's what can happen when someone is passionate about a club. Loved Dunc as a player and think he would have all the qualities to take you forward. He would get 50% more out of those players than anyone else could.

    I grew up idolising big dunc and he can still bring a tear to my eye at 37 years old! We need a manager that the players would die for. Would they for perria, anchelotte, and whoever else? One things for sure they would big dunc and if they didn’t they would get anywhere near Goodison. Every successful team needs to give 110% and buy into the manager. COYB

Furthermore, we can pay them millions after they have failed, probably in about 18 months. Yeah, that sounds ideal....let's do it!"

    Seriously, does anyone else think that Moyes and Dunk would be a strong partnership at the helm of our beloved!!??
    On Moyes, we all know that he had his hands tied financially when he was manager. We were a selling club for god sake!! Do you not think he's earnt the chance to manage Everton in an era when we actually have millions to spend??
    People forget some of the great goals that were scored in the Moyes era, and we played some great football at times. His average finish was around 7th place in the league, and considering where we were before his arrival, he did a fantastic job! I'd rather he got the millions instead of some foreign mercenary like Pereira who couldn't give a dam about the club!!!
    With more money and better players i'm sure Moyes could play a more expansive brand of football, and right now I feel Moyes and Dunk would galvanise the club and get us back to where we should be!!
