Just came across your videos. Have a 59 Renault 4cv ran when last parked over 30 years ago. Any suggestions on what to do to get it running and more importantly any ideas on swaps to help it stop

Did you rebuild the engine to be a gordini, or is it a original gordini engine? I would love to rebuild my 4cv engine to be a gordini engine, but i’m still looking or it is even something you can do.

Hi there Cody, engine sounds great! love your videos.Im working on a 1955 Renault 4cv and woundering if engine can be removed by it self or does the whole drive train engine and trans with rear suspension have to come out complete?Engine seems seized and want to tear apart to rebuilt.Thanks.

You can absolutely take the engine out by itself, although I recommend pulling both just to replace any rubber mounts or gaskets and seals that the transaxle might need.
