My friend Ross says he knows an expert propane refrigerator guy who can get my fridge working on propane. We get up early to go over to his camp and drag Vampire Wayne out of his coffin to come over and take a look at my fridge. Then we find out someone stole our neighbors' solar panel.
After a busy morning, I go looking for some cool graffiti I saw a picture of from inside of a huge tank. Then I make a stop at the pet cemetery on my way home.

That is the most irritating music I've ever heard. Everything else is awesome though, except the stolen solar panel.

I live in San Diego, near borrego springs. I've been to slab city. It's an interesting place. For those who don't know, slab city is in the middle of the desert, and it can get to 120 degrees there. There is no water, no trash, no power. There are a few amenities not too far out of town. Be aware of the people who are hiding from the government. They don't believe our laws apply to them. There are some nuts living there, but there are also some really cool people there. Lots of neat art work, and just very interesting to see.

I don't remember the topic of money being discussed, but I was taught that it is rude to discuss money, more or less.. is definitely much classier to be discrete about such things!

OMG! I couldn't even imagine myself scaling and walking along that ledge as you did. (one time maybe) the way my gait and balance is. forget it.. But it is so nice you are still blessed to do such things. Happy you got your refrig up and running and that back ground music really fits the mood and theme of thins, you always make the right choices.. Looking forward to the next adventure..till then stay safe and drive carefully....

I am with you Bex! There are far more brutal crimes in the world than theft, but I absolutely can't stand thieves! In my opinion, they are cowards skulking in the shadows...the lowest of the low! Hope they're caught and while it's unlikely, I hope they're severely and I mean severely dealt with!

The music certainly fit the vampire theme - vampire Wayne ( never realized the silver bit to non photographing), pretty women ( vampires special prey ), out on a ledge (yikes!), skullduggery ( theft by night though not of souls), and the cemetery ( sadly missing but always loved pets).

Most people with an RV fridge know it runs on the vehicle when traveling, shore power when set up a a proper campsite or or propane when electric is not available

Yes fumes are more flammable than the liquid and will blow much faster.

For safety's sake I would turn off the propane while travelling.
Not really necessary. Propane is very safe. However, of course it's a little more safe to shut off the propane when moving, but the risk is minimal to none if you don't. If the weather is really hot, I have a lot of food that needs to stay cool, and a long drive ahead, I will leave it on, since my fridge sucks on coach battery power.
Yeah that's a major cause of mobile fires.

I find it interesting that folks are reluctant to say anything negative like about the music...if it was my video, I'd take it into consideration for future choices. Dont we want her videos to be successful? Everything else was good, just music rubbed a good number the wrong way. Its as if the people needed to say they liked it to defend her...shes a cool chick, and i think she can handle it just fine without everyone invalidating those of us who hated it...i really hated it. It effected me even after i turned it off. Sounded like torture!

Those instructions are in the manual. My fridge just tells you it has a problem then you run gas out of the stove once the stove lights the gas is in the lines. Most of these refrigerators will ignite electrically

I run my propane fridge all of the time and it barely uses any propane. I was hesitant at first but haven't had any issues! I really love your videos! So informative!

It helps when your igniter is working and the system is kept relatively clean. A small wire brush in the tool kit helps for annual maintenance.
Devil_Travels : I bet someone has done a Utube video on how to do that maintenance, too. Just guessing.
I would think so. There are several different styles and ages of RV refrigerators, with differing problems.
But learning and sharing that learning is always part of RV ownership.

Dogs are so temporary, but the love they give is remarkably intense it's not a surprise that people are moved to build memorials to them. Great video, the slabs are remarkable but beyond bizarre.

When my Pit bull dog died I was so broken up that I didn't get another pet for 17 years. Now I have Bree-ah, a black lab mix who thinks I'm a dog food dispenser. Was Mister Petey named for the 'Our Gang' dog?

Hey you guys.. there are tons of satellite dishes in your local junk yard, and they are easy to refurbish into different uses all portable. Everything from a cell tower, to solar panels. A 5 dollar large base bucket/ old trash can filled with concrete, and a stake, it's not going anywhere unless you want it too. My neighbors called me Sanford, lol but they sure knew where to come for help with any type of issue whether it was building a ramp for Grandma, re-wiring a garage, using as little store bought as possible.. for the stayers there, the more permanent slabbers. You already have a foundation, and tons of broken concrete that can be broken up and repurposed. Have any if you seen the small floam dome homes? If a group of you went in together, or even made your own from materials there to create forms, it is a cheap and easy way to build an insulated, mold resistant secure living space. Just some food for thought. Honestly that is My plan. To buy an old military base, or abandoned area with repurposeable materials already present ... start a commune off grid. Sending love and light to all misfits and sociatioal outcasts.. as I too am one.. and I'm perfectly ok with that.
Like the video and music. I interestingly the original Vampire Vlad the Impaler invited all the thieves in town too a free dinner and drink. They all showed up and where fed and drunk only to have the door locked on the hall. It was then set on fire.
