    Welcome to our six day Kundalini Yoga series for beginners focused on weightloss, energy and vitality. This is the fourth day of our beginner yoga series on kundalini yoga, you don't need any yoga experience to do this. So many of you told me you wanted a total beginner kundalini series focused on weightloss and energy, and today we focus on flexibility too! This class is really geared towards people who've never done yoga before. Kundalini yoga can seem intimidating but it's actually one of the most accessible forms of yoga out there so which is why I'm so excited to share it with you in this series.

    During cat/cow I was fully aware of each vertebrae as I moved through the motion. I almost was triggered with the final Aura Charger, but Sat Nam saves me from that every time. I have grown to love the energy shifts with the different kriyas and my core is so strong. While doing the Breath of Fire I see my manipura as a bright yellow flash light with a brilliant yellow color filling the whole room. It is so much easier staying inside now. Namaste

    You are a gifted yoga instructor. The perfect amount of instruction with the right amount of silence. I've practiced with you since spring 2014, and your Kundalini classes surprise me every time. I'm always hesitant thinking I need more of a "physical" practice, but then finish feeling so energized -- which lasts through the following day Thank you for your great spirit!

    I had a lot more energy for this than in the past, and felt a lot more clear-headed. By breath of fire I was fairly tired, but not as much as in the past. I did have to stretch out my back for breath of fire though as it was just straining it too much.

And its hard to find Kundalini yoga videos on youtube so its great that your making more of these cause they are lacking on youtube for sure. I normally do hour long Kundalini workouts on my days off work and I do short 20 minute yoga videos (non kundalini) before work. Now thanks to you I can have some nice short Kundalini yoga workouts to do before work! Thank you Brett!

    Hi Brett! I've been doing yoga with you everyday for over a month now! Thank you for your practices, which I love. I still have some problems with breath of fire. I have seen your tutorial and practice it almost everyday, but I still find it difficult to keep the navel snapping for a longer period of time or if I do manage to snap it, I do it much slower than you do. Any tips on how I can improve? Thank you! Sending you lots of positive energy!

    • @BrettLarkinYoga
      @BrettLarkinYoga  Před 4 lety +2

      Breath of Fire is tricky, and it can take a long time to get the hang of it. So, practice is really the only way to improve. So, listen to your body and go at your own pace, we all learn thing differently, and that is perfectly ok!!

  • @MatrixMasteryUnlockWealth

    I feel great and can feel my energy, I have tried kundalini with others before and I always get so frustrated with the breath of fire because I can never keep up or I loose the snap in the belly and have to bring my attention to get back in rhythm. Doing kundalini with you has made it a great experience, I don’t get as frustrated with myself. Its almost like you can see me and give the reminders at the right time. Especially when you say it’s not about how fast you go it’s about the rhythm it’s easy for me to bring back my focus on breath of fire and get into the rhythm. With others I always feel like I’m trying to keep up and I end up beating myself up, by thinking what is wrong with me, why can’t I get my belly to continue snapping back And that is always the most frustrating part for me. I feel like no one ever had Trouble that they all started and was able to do a breath of fire those are things that go on in my head at times but not when I do your videos so really I think you were explaining and giving reminders. I want this bad and I have became obsessed with all kinds of yoga I cannot go a day without doing yoga.

    I really love this! I already did the 6 days and started over and i’m noticing that the second time around i can easily get through the excercises. I’ve head really bad headacheds for months... and since the 2nd day it’s been gone! I’m so thankful! The only excercise that’s hard for me is the aura charge. Somehow i feel like my head starts spinning during the breath of fire (but only during this excercise). I freak out a little and than stop and start and again stop and start... it’s like i’m leaving my body or like i’m losing my sence i don’t know hahaha do you have any advice for me? Thank you!!

    Probably I’m the only one in world who started kundalini with the 90 day krija, one hour session, got through 90 days, and now doing this beginning session(2-3 sessions together) religiously for a month. My question is how to engage mullabund, pelvis up and in, chin dips, gaze up, tongue on the roof of the mouth without crunching the whole body, shoulders included. I think the shoulders should remain relaxed? At any rate I’m learning this the way I should have, mostly! Thank you greatly!

    • @BrettLarkinYoga
      @BrettLarkinYoga  Před 4 lety

      WOW, I'm impressed!! Yes, when engaging the bandhas we want to keep a tall neutral spine. Think of tucking the chin into the throat more than dipping it in maybe. It's one of those things you refine over time and practice, sounds like you are doing amazing!!

    Question - my body creates a lot of heat when I do this yoga. Is this normal?

    Omg! I ended the breath of fire sweating like crazy. Is that ok?😆 And really felt it on my navel too today. Thank you for these videos Brett!😘💞

      Yes, totally normal! Breath of Fire builds heat, and you are doing it right if you are feeeling it at the navel center. Thank you for practicing with me!
