All I can say is: THANK YOU, THANK YOU AND THANK YOU.
Thanks for making this video. It will save me a long trip to the Kubota shop & a bunch of cash💸
Very helpful! Thanks for being basic and not overly technical.
Great video. Helped me immensely. After a couple tries, I realized the shifter needs to remain in neutral in order for this fix to hold. The process moves the shifter, which moves the linkage. Secure the shifter in natural neutral and you'll nail it first try.
Brilliant & super helpful! I watched and did all he showed. Fixed it the first time! Many Thanks!!!!
My goodness!! I don't know how you KNOW how to do all this. I wouldn't even know where to start!
How do I open the back without Power
this has happened to me and usually get a mechanic to fix it but looks easy to do
Anyone know the torque spec on the assembly bolts?
Great video. Thanks for saving us all alot of time. What position does the actuator need to be in? Should I put the gear shift in neutral?
what is that BIG white or gray building the background? :)
dont worry it'll happen again. there are 2 causes that combined causes this. first the shifter has too much mechanical advantage. second the hydrostat doesnt fully return to neutral. if that shifter doesnt move easily don't go even half gorilla on it. shut the engine off then try putting it in neutral. pushing too hard causes the shift pin mechanism to flex and then jump out. there's a fix for that but thats reserved for dumb gorillas and usually causes other things to break. the real stinker is the neutral adjustment on the hst part of the transmission. the throttle not only works the engine throttle but the hst servo which in turn moves a swashplate to increase trans input speed . the finger on the servo wears and the hst fails to go to nuetral. so there ends up being pressure applied to the gears making them not want to shift. its a couple hundred dollar part and needs to be properly adjusted. oh and there should be a prop on the left frame rail for the dump cylinder. its cabled to the round pipe the cylinder bottom pin is attatched to. and should have stickers to show how to use it . i could see the stickers in the video.
I had to shut the audio off. The snot sniffling driving me crazy!!!
Nothing like a bit of SNOT SNIFFING while making a video.
THANK YOU!! Mine was stuck in forward. It literally took 10 minutes to fix. I can't imagine what the Kubota dealer would have charged. Another thing to note, my RTV was not moving well, no energy, something seemed to be holding its energy back. Once this problem was resolved, it has 3 times the energy. So.....I guess the gears have something to do with its ability to propel as well. This 65 year old mother was able to fix this in 10 minutes. You just need the right tools and some shade (Texas heat). Thanks again!!
Does this need some gear oil? Where is it added?
