Update: I say in the video that it can only go in one way, but I somehow managed to install a bulb into the back end of the socket (but not the bulb in this video). In other words, the receptacle is designed in such a way where it's two-sided, but it's not supposed to be. Plugging into the wrong side can possibly damage the prongs on the bulb, which is almost what happened to me (when changing this bulb yet again the other day). So just pay attention to the proper orientation at about
Commenting to say thank you!! The Kona manual was trash at explaining and no one else had posted about it, your video saved me a TON of hassle!! I never would’ve figured it out without the visuals.
Thanks for the video! I have the exact same problem 2021 Kona passenger low beam bulb is not working and your video is the only one showing how to do it!
Hey so this is a great video but if you want to make it a little easier to get the the bulb there is actually a panel on the wheel well you just pull the tab out and it gives you easier access to the bulb
Thanks for your help. I couldn't get it from the bottom because Mines have 2 screws on the bottom and the one on top is different. And I didn't have it 24 either but I was luckily able to get it from the hood..Mannn It's a struggle when you have super big hands like mines But it saved me some bucks thanks 😊
Cool thanks man, gonna replace mine once I get home. I’m in N.C, it rained all weekend when mine went out. I went to advanced auto and they didn’t have a part number/ bulb type for a 22 Kona. So I thought about going back to the dealer, until I YT today. Thanks. 👏👏
Thanks so much. I have had the hardest time finding people to change the lightbulb. Autozone and O'Reilly both wouldn't and Hyundai was booking weeks out. Thanks to you, I did it myself!
Your fingers and alignment skills are far better than mine. I got it done but ended up opening the wheel well door for which I now have to get a new retainer clip. I found it to be a real pain. Notiing came of easy and was a pain to put in place. My Toyota RAV4 was a piece of cake compared to my Kona.
I recently had to change the bulb again and did it the way some of you were describing---the opening by the wheel. That way works pretty well, but I prefer the way that I did it in this video. Going by the tire works but it required me to put my hands in an awkward angle---even more than with the method in the video.

Love how LEDS are touted for 10-15 years.... Then we are always lucky to get two years out of them for 10 times the price lol.
Thank you so much for the video ❤❤❤❤❤ I am a woman 👩 and I did this by myself ❤I am so proud of me ❤

That was a great guide to changing the light bulbs, I just finished changing both of my low beam bulbs.
