Can you not just remove the plastic part thats by the driver side wheel thats connected to the whole bumper ? That goes around the light ?

Yes you can but you have to remove the bumper

What is the name of the part that had the 4 screws in the top? Can it be separated from the main bumper?

It’s called the seight shield and yes it can be separated from the bumper

Thank you, mine got loose from one end, from a slight hit. Got it off, seems it was just attached to the bumper by some sort of heat caused points of attachment. No clips or other physical form of anchorage, I have a 2023 kona

Can you remove that head lamp without taking the bumper off?

No sir the bumper must comes off because it’s screws up underneath the light that you must remove

do the lights need to be coded when installing new one?

No just plug and play and for whatever reason if it gives you problems just disconnect the battery for a minute or two and connect it back
