    F-One offers an awesome aftermarket Swivel for wing wrist leash you can purchase separately and add to any wing - has a nice neoprene cover also. This keeps the wrist leash tangle free. F-One also offers a 10cm spectra loop wrist leash extension you can add between the swivel and wing if you would like to extend the leash a bit more. Awesome review @Matt & Real Team!

      I found swivel on F-One's site, but the extension - is it for sale? I found info about this spectra loop as a security standard feature on new leashes.

    Awesome that you guys are on the F-One train, they have some of the best gear out there.
    Have been on the strike since the V1 and love it. The v3 seemed to get a little squirrelly when overpowered, but seems like they fixed that in the new versions.

    Thanks for making it clear. Would love to hear how you describe the Strike compared to Armstrong XPS wings.

      These two are the best two wings I have ridden. They have similar weight. The xps has more control with the shape and hard handles. Xps also has slightly better bottom end and is much easier to control when it is the top of the wind range. The XPs and strike have similar luffing free fly capabilities. The strike has more explosive pop off the water for the free stylers.

    Thanks for this informative video...how would you compare Strike vs Unit 2024 /grunt and speed/

    • @REALmattnuzzo
      @REALmattnuzzo Před měsícem +1

      Sure. Both are great wings. I'll start with the front handle on Unit cause it is soft like a noodle. Not sure why such a good wing is made with a soft and floppy front handle. The front handle on the Strike v4 is stellar and it is really well balanced, so the Strike wins by a mile on flagging out and riding swells. The bars on the unit are a great shape and long so they give a very positive feel to the Unit. The soft handles work well on the Strike v4, but if you want that rigid feedback, then the Unit wins here. That is until the F-one handles come out this summer. The front/back hand balance on the Strike is perfect so you don't get worn out by this wing. The Unit jumps around a bit. Both have great pop for small airs and spinny things. I can't speak to big airs, but it seems like the pros on the strike get more air time. I know that the Strike does have a lot of pop. Unit has windows which are nice. Strike has better low end for getting going with small boards. Top end is similar on both. I feel like that overall impression of the Strike is better for how I ride. The Unit is a top tier wing too and I know a lot of people are happy with them.

    Do the Swing/Strike have more low end grunt than the XPS 4.6m ?

    • @REALmattnuzzo
      @REALmattnuzzo Před měsícem +1

      The xps 4.6 gets going in a little lighter breeze than the strike. Swing needs the most wind to get started.

      @@REALmattnuzzo interesting I would have thought the Strike with more dihedral required the stronger wind.

      @@luksterp6049 yeah us too, but the Strike has the most get up and go from the F-one wings.

      @@REALmattnuzzo I thought it was marketed as more grunt in the low end eg. catch and release in light winds for waves... good to know as the V# low end was a bit poor I thought

    at a first glance it looks like a 23 model as competition goes long front handle - Strike offers short front or boom .. why ???

    • @REALmattnuzzo
      @REALmattnuzzo Před měsícem

      Not sure I fully understand the question but I’ll take a shot. The v4 Strike and Swing are a huge upgrade from 2023 v3. Much improved low end, flag out better and feel really positive in hand. Lighter and flag out better too. Previously these wing only had the option to have the stock soft handle. For v4, they come with those same soft handle and give you the option to upgrade to hybrid soft handle, hard handle or boom. Very cool system.
