Dr Pushkar Sohoni should be congratulated for simplifying and demystifying a broad-ranging and often confusing topic of Indian Devotional Architecture. Rarely does one come across a lecturer/presenter that speaks clearly and confidently with the right economy of terms that does not overwhelm a newbie like me. As a person who is not well-acquainted with Indian history and her multi-faceted culture and traditions, I have understood more in these 30 minute-lessons than I ever did from reading of books. I will be looking out for more programmes on this series particularly those of Dr Pushkar : )

Jain temple shown does not belongs to Karkala. It is situated in Shravanabelagola, Karnataka.
