She was upset that her path up the stairs to the strawberry plants was barricaded by a lawn chair.🤣😂 Seriously though, she even surprised me by not getting up as I towered over her thinking "Did we get a new dog?"🤔🤣

They find the strangest places to plop down. One of their favorites is under my back deck where they have to almost crouch down to get underneath it, but it's cool and away from most biting insects. Another is under the bush between the Snack Stump and my trailer, I've more than once been startled by not knowing one was there before walking through. Picture a deer leaping from a bush only a couple feet away!🤣😂

Thank you. When we moved here in 1982, it was just an overgrown logging road. We lived without power and water for a year, luckily we had a wood stove and plenty of firewood! 😁
Some days all I see are turkeys. I think all the bugs have the deer taking cover in the undergrowth, they are terrible now. The deer flies can really aggravate the deer to the point where the deer run and kick their way to the trees. They aren't much fun for us either if we're close enough to our deer.
@@wildlifeathome Yeah, the bug thing is sheer torture for them. It’s been so bad lately that Mother actually lets me brush them away from her face and ears with my hands. That’s a hideous thing they have to go through in the summer. Little Buck and Mother both seek refuge under my deck when the sun and bugs get really bad. This aspect of summer I can do without!

Only Mother showed up today for me. An unusual no deer day. It’s weird that you had the same thing on the same day.
