🚄 INFORMATION KEY
Train Numbers - e.g. 43032 or 800110 - These are train numbers which are specific to that train. No trains can be numbered the same. Locos are 5 digit numbers where the first two numbers are the class of train e.g. 67010 would be a class 67. Multiple Units are 6 digit numbers where the first three numbers are the class of train e.g. 390154 would be a class 390. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOPS#TO...
Headcodes - e.g. 1F32 or 5M00 - These are used by the railway signallers to determine where trains are on the network. Every train within a region has a specific four code ID. Click Here to learn more
➤ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Train_r...
Set Number - e.g. WB64 or NL04 - These are semi-permanent loco hauled coach formations which are kept together for formalities. The first two letters usually indicate the maintenance depot responsible e.g. OC is Old Oak Common, LA is Laira. The number indicates the rake number.
🚄 ABOUT ME
Hello everyone, I’m StarlifeStudios and my passion is to experience and video railway stations across the United Kingdom at both small and large locations, but, with an informative twist! My videos are also designed as a historical reference for the days of the past and to reminisce about the way things were. Theres some great irony in the inspection unit itself failing...
Doncaster is definitely one of the best stations for trainspotters
I agree
You can add to that, Peterborough & Stafford.
Well it would be if people weren’t constantly tonew⚓️rs
Amazing train video at Doncaster
Amazing video Ross!! Some incredible variety there and some great freight action too!! Was a great way to kick things off with 66789 and it was cool to see an 88 and 68 being double headed!! Amazing shot of 66505 there and weird to see the HST with a pantograph! Suprised colas still havent repainted the ex-LNER powercars and EMR one yet
Amazing video well done. Love the sound of the 66 putting the power down and the looks of the hull trains paragon 802s are beautiful. Funnily enough I actually caught one at Leicester! Keep up the good work
Thank you very much DC87! Hope your visit to Leicester went well. 😃
Keep up the good work
I've always wanted to know how it was like at doncaster😃😃
Can you do the next station Worcester for gate street
Thanks for the liks
Class 91s still freakin awesome
Very good video as usual, maybe one on the next videos could be at Portlethen?
Could you do kidgrove, its my local station and have loads of great memories there(i appreciate you doing this if you can an i love your work)
I could not help but imagine how could a freight train be 26 minutes early
Great railway video
One of the best station on the ecml cause of how much operators stop there.
Great vid some brilliant catches
nice video bro
I like the lumo.
Thanks, that must have taken a lot of work.
It’s all worth it to me, thank you for watching and supporting 👍🏻
You did well getting locos going round the curve, has any of the undergrowth been removed this year so locos are more visable ?
Class 801 goes errrrrrrr
There was the midland Pullman at Chester today and on Friday!
AYY I SEE MYSELF at 7:41
Nice video! When will we see the CAF-Civity trains of LNER?
Probably 2026-2027
@@tibsthefox Thank you very much! 🙂😊
I SAW THE FAIL TRAIN AT HIGHAMS PARK STATION I GOT A PHOTO
Awesome video! Was the HST doing both track and overhead inspection and if so how does the electric mk1 coach do it?
I believe it does both yes. It uses the pantograph on the Mk1 to detect any damage and deviance from design. It’s a bit strange seeing a HST with a pantograph though!
@@StarlifeStudios It is strange seeing an electric mk1 lol thanks anyways!
Announcements seem to be pretty much continuous!
They pretty much were, I got very annoyed hearing the ‘tactile paving’ announcement every time a train arrived. I don’t know why they need to announce platform 0 at the other end of the station either!
0:06 still the Adelaide’s…
Nice could u do Ealing Broadway next
I have tried to film at Ealing Broadway earlier this year but was denied access. I won’t be trying again this year.
Ok@@StarlifeStudios
where did 66596 go?
Filming Suggestion: Horley (BML) or Horsham (Arun Valley)
I've been looking at Horley and Gatwick Airport for a while and I think the time is coming for these two! Horsham is an interesting one, I will have to plan a special on the day I visit to make sure its interesting. Thanks.
