And a much more idealistic subject for those times, the search of the Holly Grial, I think more young men must study ancient epic poems and take that beatiful and romantic ideals as part of their lives.
This theme almost singlehandedly makes this movie feel grand and epic in ways it really isn't. It's what gives it more emotional heft than it has any right to have. It's THAT good.
