Lost a best friend in 2014 from a shroom trip. He had lost him mom from cancer back in 2004 and I guess it all came back to him when he took shrooms because he was not only a first time user, but he had a really bad trip. His father ended up calling the police on him for believing his son was suicidal, my friend was talking about wanting to go see his mom in heaven and etc... Before police showed up, my friend had walked into his room and grabbed his shotgun and ended it all. He got caught up in the wrong crowd. I wasn't there but wish I was, as he probably would've listened to me. Because of him, I never overstepped my boundaries and have never tried shrooms or anything hallucinogenic. Sometimes the mind gets carried too far away to remain a hold of.
I am really sorry man, my condolences. I can't believe how today's society glorifies drugs and makes it out to be a joke. It's all good. I know people that literally lost it and had years of mental health issues after getting high on weed (e.g. depersonalization/derealization). As you get older, your subconscious fills up with more stuff - your problems, fears, frustrations, doubts. When you take any kind of drugs after 30 (not that it can't happen before 30), it's literally a lottery every time - you can absolutely lose your mind and do something as horrible as what your friend unfortunately did. I only took shrooms once. I had a bad trip literally cried for 6 hours until I was sober. Luckily I was safe at home with 3 girlfriends. I cried because I felt like a poisoned my body and I was so disappointed in myself thinking I was going to stay insane forever. The walls in my room were melting it was scary. My ex "friends" tried inviting a guy over but I kicked him out because it was my moms house and I didnt feel safe knowing the state I was in. But after that I never tried anything and completely stopped smoking weed because sober was my new high. I was so grateful to feel sober when i did

0:58 and 3:02 i can relate, one night when i got away from people who kept me awake for 3-4 days i finally got home it was like 3-4am and i thought there was a helicopter in the air but it was my fan and i thought someone was climbing up my window but it was just windy and i thought there was multiple vehicles outside, i thought different parties at once was trying to save/kidnap me and i walked outside in the cold fog and no one was out there i carried a machete in my pants i was wearing full black and i went for a walk around the streets to confirm if anyone was after me... i remembered i ended up seeing 2 big dogs roaming in the distance and in my head i was thinking to back hand with the machete if the dog nipped at my leg or something but they just ran past me.. big trip.. at the time i thought i was getting justice for something i went through.. still fighting for it today except the only difference is.. i dont believe someone is doing it on my behalf unlike beofre hehhe

I am really sorry man, my condolences. I can't believe how today's society glorifies drugs and makes it out to be a joke. It's all good. I know people that literally lost it and had years of mental health issues after getting high on weed (e.g. depersonalization/derealization). As you get older, your subconscious fills up with more stuff - your problems, fears, frustrations, doubts. When you take any kind of drugs after 30 (not that it can't happen before 30), it's literally a lottery every time - you can absolutely lose your mind and do something as horrible as what your friend unfortunately did. The human brain is still a complete enigma and here we are fucking with it, and on top of that, the fucking with is being openly promoted in the mainstream. I just don't get how people don't understand this. And I'm not blaming your friend or anyone else that this happened to, people make a mistake and fuck up, and unfortunately especially those that don't normally do drugs get the short end of the stick.

My ex "friends" tried inviting a guy over but I kicked him out because it was my moms house and I didnt feel safe knowing the state I was in. But after that I never tried anything and completely stopped smoking weed because sober was my new high. I was so grateful to feel sober when i did
