I only wanted the cable to be portable but i can always just pull the SD card out, put it into an adapter and connect the TFT LCD to my Pi 1, which has both better port placement and a battery anyways :)

      @@BasicITStuff I am planning to run my own tablet off of it. I have a 4" display very similar (possibly identical, I would guess it has the same XPT-2046 touch controller -- you can find the controller on the back of the screen) to yours and I got LineageOS (android 9) running on my Pi 4B by modifying the /boot/config.txt file. My seller says to insert this code into the config.txt file:
      hdmi_group=2
      hdmi_mode=87
      display_rotate=3
      hdmi_cvt 480 800 60 6 0 0 0
      ...but I don't know if that's the same LCD as yours. I saw a comment about running Windows - if you wish to do that, you might be able to modify the values to match yours/theirs in the config.txt. I am still trying to figure out how I could enable touch support in LineageOS since right now my finger/stylist controls the mouse pointer rather than just a point-and-click.

    I'm using this same case/screen for a Retropie portable build and so far it's working well. Only problem is when I go to configure any settings I can't see the menus at all, they are stuck behind the boot screen which looks frozen. If I use the keyboard arrows to move around the menu it briefly flashes so I can see it's there, but the boot screen hides everything. I can press escape to go back to retropie, super weird.

    Should I get a Lenovo M90n-1, the Raspberry PI 4B or a small laptop for my home computer?
    My needs are to share an SSD USB drive over wifi, with photos and videos. Additionally to run the qDSLR Dashboard Server, which needs Linux, when controlling my cameras.
    I thought to use the RP4 with a foldable keyboard/touchpad (which I'm not sure if can be used?) and smartphone with HDMI adapter. And for power to go with the TP-Link 20.000 mAh battery. The same with the Lenovo M90n.
    In the case of the M90n or a Laptop would have to have some Linux installed for the qDSLR.
    In the case of the laptop, it would have a 11th gen i5, it already has a M.2 1TB SSD and a battery, it's easier to move around, costs around $1.000.
    Thanks in advance for the recommendations 👍
