😮 Completely disagree on Feyd Rautha! The perfume you chose is too sweet and luxe-smelling. His perfume needs darkness and excitement. Unfortunately, I can’t think of an appropriate perfume for him from all the perfumes I’ve tested.
Agreed. I picture Feyd-Rautha smelling dirty and repulsive.

Excellent Mate talk as always. Two quick things, headed to a meeting. First thanks for the time stamps had to use them today. Second, as a lover of the Dune books and ALL the movies, I have two quick alternate scents. Gurney, to me, would definitely be a Megamare guy! Deep and tumultuous like the seas of Caladan. The emperor, again to me, would definitely be a Diagelev guy. Very formal and facetious. Gotta run, will dive back into this later. Cheers! 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊

I really love that note but it usually feels a bit too feminine IMO.... This is not the case!

Tubereuse Astrale is a true example of weapons grade Quentin Bisch work. It gave me a very similar vibe to Guidance on the dry down, and I think Marcelo's a fan of that one.

Great job Marcelo. Like the exploration of a new line, always fun. This matching of fragrance to characters in Dune2 got me thinking that you could do this with any movie. I’m going to search for a movie I’ve always enjoyed and see if I can do the same thing.👍👍👍😂

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Basic Instinct with Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone, very steamy and intense. One of the Bourne series or the Batman/Dark Knight films. Mission Impossible series, Pulp Fiction, that has great characters. James Bond films.
Another lovely episode! Just a small clarification-it was Lea Seydoux playing Lady Margot of Bene Gesserit in those shots with the woven metal dress where she seduced Feyd Rautha.
Sadly no access to "Karbuş" but I was lucky enough have some homemade Baklava as we are celebrating end of Ramadan today...I haven't watch Dune 2 yet but can't wait to see it...and now I will know what they are actually wearing as their fragrances🙂

I had to stop video when spoiler alerts starts, since i have not seen dune2 yet. But, Jovoy store is hands down the best parfum shop i have ever been. Whoever has a chance i would strongly recommend them to go. I have been to Paris and France 2 weeks ago and it is magical

I disagree on Feyd-Rautha. When you see Harkonnen homeworld, Giedi Prime and especially that scene in the arena I picture him smelling repulsive, very animalic, maybe even leathery. I see him wearing Toskovat “Inexcusable Evil” and/or “Anarchist A” first and foremost, then Orto Parisi “Cuoium” , Matiere Premiere “Falcon Leather” , Akro “Ink” or maybe even all those layered together💀😂 . As for Feyd-Rautha on Arrakis, that can be a different story.
Whoa. I haven’t smelled any of these, but if the names are any indication, I am leaning more toward your suggestions than the one offered in the video! Feyd is undeniably handsome and fit, but he is absolutely, obviously evil and dangerous.

Yes, I hear your points @bartoltolic, but that's the point....if he's too animalic then he's not an effective killer. Remember he's psychotic, he wants to kill for the thrill of it (plus he doesn't want to work to hard to achieve his objective), so you have to trust that he's a good guy and you draw close to him of your own will and choice = boom! Nothing BR540 to snare you with it's glorious scent profile 🥰

No, no. His gory reputation definitely precedes him. He is the successor. Everyone knows exactly who he is and what he likes to do. They are around him because they have no choice. It’s also what their culture is about. He’s like a fit Caligula who does his own dirty work. No one in Rome had any doubts about what Caligula was capable of, but if he said “come to dinner,” you had better be there! So perhaps a compromise is a perfume that is equally majestic and somehow foul/painful - something from Zoologist, I’m sure.

I have watched the film yesterday and it is amazing so i watched video now.
Feyd-Rautha - definetly br540 extrait since that is the ultimate playboy fragrance, since you need to have lots of confidence to pull it off, and he is caracterised as a playboy.
Princess - never tried dolce melodia but i would give her Xerjoff - starlight
Lea Seydoux is a sex on feet, famous for her nude scenes and private nude pictures and she is glowing in sex in this film. Never tried narcotic venus but i would give her Odor93
Guerney def can pull off viride

I imagine Feyd Rautha will wear potent leather scent, what is coming to my mind are: Falcon leather, Cuir intense Guerlain or even Tom Ford Ombre Leather. I see Princess Irulana wearing powdery, clean scent with dominant iris note. She is put together and reserved
Love it Dominika!! Yes, we did initially allocate a very animalic fragrance to Feyd; but I love the thought that he's 'playing against type'....especially on purpose (and by design) as he really wants to draw you in, that much easier to kill😏

Feyd definitely didn't seduce me, I felt repulsed ;) animatic leather is the scent which I don't enjoy at all, smelling it on a man makes me wanna run away!
