Hi, new to Orto Parisi here…started with blind buy Terroni which Is awesome. next day I watched this review and ordered a sample from Stercus, Boccanera and Cuoium and now….I m lost….complety lost…I want them all!!!! Stercus is good but in my opinion Cuoium is better.

I was wearing Terroni today. Great fragrance. For me, the favourite remains Megamare. It feels like I'm wearing the entire ocean.

To me it smells like warm and wet dark soil combined with some smokiness and sweetness( maybe some red fruits and some wine). It is definitely a very interesting and unique fragrance. When i smell it it gives me some Aramis vibes but sweeter and better

Professional, incredibly detailed, and extremely entertaining, your videos have an addicting quality to them that I can’t get enough of. my name being Michael as well, you were the reason I'm now officially a Gualtieri fanboy.. these are magnificent and unique scents, daring even.. I went for Bergamask just a couple weeks ago for a signature/work scent, and I find that with careful spraying, the scent pushes off of body heat hours and hours after application, mixing with natural (clean) sweat to create some of the most memorable compliments from clients/strangers I've ever received... Don't let the estranged nature of these scents scare you people, jump in.... these scents are the art form of a chaotic genius!

Marcelo, YOU are the reason I heard about and eventually fell in love with the work of fragrance maestro Alessandro Gualtieri with Orto Parisi as well as Nasomatto. I'm baffled as to why I slept on this house, to be honest no awareness until randomly happening on your reviews. I wore Viride yesterday and I'm not surprised to find it within your list of top five flavors. And like others here I knew Terroni would be your number one pick. I find it hilarious that I blind bought cuoium as my first orto parisi!! I guess the good thing I have found is that my subsequent purchases from the house have felt like safe bets.
I have been very intrigued by stercus and given you have it as your no. 2 gives me confidence to "sniff it out" for a sampling.

Never tried Otto Parisi, however I love several Nasomatos. You give the most intriguing descriptions of scents. Makes me want to try them. Thanks.
Do yourself a favor and sample Orto Parisi. Good stuff, quite unique.
If you're familiar with Alessandro's work via Nasomatto; then this is an easy side step for you. The Orto Parisi are a lot punchier and really amped perfumes (compared to Nasomatto) but that's what Alessandro wanted to do...create something a lot more animalic as the overall theme.
I would recommend to you the top 3 as an easy place to start for you @Vin D

Surely appreciate your views on your Top 5. A difficult ranking to make as each offering is so unique, with all being top shelf fragrances. My ranking is based on "Juice Level in Bottle" Bergamask, Megamare, Seminalis, Terroni & Boccanera being the lowest level in the bottles. I've bought backup bottles of Bergamask and Megamare. Another indicator of my connectedness to them. Easier for me is to identify which I reach for least: Viride, though it's just as good as any of the others. I can go on but I own no other complete house which causes me to do a fist pump many hours after applying. As always Marcelo, excellent work, thank you for sharing your insights and knowledge of the line and it's creation, even if much is a mystery.

First time I wore Megamare was to a long boozy breezy summer afternoon lunch on a terrace overlooking the sea. At the end of the day a gentleman two tables down (wind?) came up to me, shook my hand, and congratulated me on the fragrance I was wearing. One spray at most from then on! Still working my way through what else works for me from OP. Do really enjoy your videos and perspectives!
What an awesome story Shaun....that's the power of Megamare. I find that with all the OP's that what you think you're smelling on yourself and what others are picking up are 2 different things (this is true when I where Stercus and Viride).

Terroni got me started on orto parisi, ive got a pretty sturdy collection now! Bergamusk is now my all time favorite, terroni is second, megamare in a close third. I really want to get cuoium next. The only one i cant quite get my nose to enjoy is seminalis, but i think its still extremely well done

I bought cuoium when i was in Rome, it was love with first sniff. Now im thinking to get Megamare and maybe Viride. I find terroni somewhat simmilar to cuoium but i liked that one too. Maybe one day i will get the full collection XD

Cuoium and Stercus are also very nice and I think in general that the fragrances of Alessandro are outstanding.
@@tuneslinksglobalresources753 Longevity with Megamare is on my skin easy 24 to 30 hours with massive projection 😎 got a lot of compliments on it.
Terroni is a little bit less in projection but in longevity I also get 18 to 24 hours.
I can just recommend the brand 🔥 one of the best I‘ve ever tried😊
i knew Terroni would be number 1, its my number 1 as well! i will be wearing it during winter soon, Stercus and Boccanera is in my top 5 as well, Megamare is the longest lasting fragrance ever. They are tremendous creations from Alessandro and all your Orto Parisi reviews have been great and interesting with little stories about each one, and i'm sure you've got more people into the Parisi's after they listen to your reviews, your great to listen to, take care Marcelo

Yes, just like that intro (where it starts off 'sunny/bright', then goes to a dark place) Megamare does the same thing with it's evolution.
As I mentioned in this episode, the first time I tried Megamare, I had to wash it off...too intense😱🌊....it's now one that makes me so happy when I wear it😂

I personally love Megamare, I bought it in Florence at l'Ó Profumo. I get compliments on it quite often as it is my day to day scent, although I prefer wearing it in the summer as it smells better on me once I warm up. Personally I enjoy adding a spritz of cloud or a dab of white musk/ Egyptian musk which works well on my skin but it depends on where I’m going/ what i I’m doing

I am SO going to be hunting for Orto Parisi (and later Nasomatto) creations from now on. I came to know about them through a shaving soap inspired by Megamare, but got really fired up after watching your videos and trying to find out more about Alessandro Gualtieri (it's not hard, Gu-al-tieri. If you can pronounce guapo, you can pronounce Gualtieri 😉 😆). The man has to be some sort of genius!

Hey Marcelo. I got some Orto Parisi samples - Terroni, Boccanera, Megamare, Bergamask, Seminalis. The favourite seems to be Terroni. Really lovely, almost therapeutic. Already bought a bottle second hand. Bergamask was too strong for me. The rest I liked, but not loved! But I’ll wear them a few more times and see if I start to enjoy them more.

I’ve started my niche journey with Orto Parisi and I’ve tried Terroni, Megamare, Bergamask and Brutus. I’ve gravitated towards Terroni and Megamare the most, Brutus was fine but it’s scent felt similar to some designer fragrances, Bergamask was very good but I’m gonna wait until summer to try it again and maybe it will be my summer fragrance. I have Terroni and I’m loving it. Megamare I’m kinda afraid to buy because it’s so strong. The scent is godly and to me it smells amazing but I think others around me would find that fragrance too strong and repulsive. Also I need to try Boccanera, I hear a lot of good things about that fragrance.
I would strongly recommend Megamare to you Bartol....there will be no regrets here.

Just like all the Orto Parisi don't over spray (I like doing 2-3). You'll find that what others are detecting when you wear Megamare is not what you are smelling. Up close, this fragrance is powerful but it's projection and sillage is divine. Brilliant all year round perfume

The 1st Orto Parisi I got was Terroni, absolutely phenomenal, 2nd was Megamare which i absolutely love. After this video i really want to try Vierde
The fact that you love both Terroni and Megamare; then Virede will be an easy love for you. It does lean more into the aromatic/herbal woods but done is that unique Orto Parisi style 😎💥

"Stercus" means "dung, manure" - a smell with better connotations than "feces" 🙂 (particularly for a line named "Vegetable Garden")

I got Megamare, Bergamask, and Terroni, in that order. I've also received many samples of all the Orto Parisi line and have sprayed each one of them on myself.
At first, I hated Stercus. But wearing on samples, I changed my mind completely. It has greatly grown on me and I think I kind of love it at this point. --- might pull the trigger on it later on
My top in order would be:
1.Bergamask - Megamare (a draw for me, it 's impossible to choose a favorite here)
2.Terroni
3. Boccanera
4. Seminalis - Stercus (a draw, they are both quite strange and unusual; but I love them)
5. Brutus
6. Virine (I like it but I think it's the weakes of the linet in performance)
7. Couium (The only one I truly hate and haven't changed my mind).
Just bought Terroni. My god, what a masterpiece! Tried Boccanera, Cuoium, Megamare too. Next purchases.

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Retried Megamare and Boccanera yesterday. Megamare is really weird, between attraction and repulsion. Couldn't decide for a buy. Boccanera disappoints me, a Terroni without "corones". I'll certainly go for Megamare.

This is such a complex divine, amazing, unique fragrance that it will never get old… it will be constantly surprising you🌊💙
I started with Stercus in 2016 and got tons of compliments from Oud lovers. Love it but used it sparingly to be sure it would not offend people around
Great choice to start on the Orto Parisi line up, Stercus is magic! And yes, you're very considerate, as sometimes Oud heavy fragrance's can really be too much for closed environment locations (office is a classic....unless everyone is into Oud!!)

I bought Megamare and it’s the best fragrance I have ever bought. This thing literally stays 2 days on my skin. For a fresh fragrance it’s absolutely insane. Too me it’s very addictive to smell, salty fresh musk. Very manly and powerful. Worth 100% the price.

I have tested the others and I loved Seminalis (sexy AF) and Boccanera (u like chocolate?) but I have not purchased them yet.

This is exactly my list. My least favorite would be Couium.
Stercus is okay but there is something funky about it. Virine smells great and it leans masculine, but I feel It's the weakest in term of performance.

As a newbie to the line I started by subjecting my poor local fragrance shop’s staff to spraying samples of all the perfumes in the brand. Stercus seemed too dry to my nose but it may have been due to my senses being fried by all the other ones.
I ended up liking Megamare and Seminalis and went home with Seminalis that very day. Ended up taking Megamare home on my next couple of visits.
You are very brave person to be smelling the whole collection in one hit😳 I think my senses would have shut down after two (and gone blind after three😂)

Wonderful to hear from you @ira ira and awesome to hear that Megamare is your jam! In truth all the Orto Parisi are powerhouse fragrance's....but if you want another "BEAST" mode like Megamare, then Bergamask is the next one in line.
Citrus/musk is the central feature to this fragrance....however, I always recommend that you test first, rather than buy a full bottle. Maybe you could get a few samples and see which one is the winner for you??

To my nose, there is a very distinct difference to Terroni and Boccanera. I get a very distinct chocolate note from Boccanera (with a slight chilli sweetness), whereas Terroni is smokey woods all the way through.

Of the 3 that you suggested, I love wearing Bergamask in Summer (Megamare is way too strong for summer, perfect for winter). I would also recommend to you Brutus, this fragrance 'shines' in heat.

I’ve tried most of the samples from Orto Parisi and i really like seminalis. The thing is i work as a barista and i think seminalis is more for dating if i’m not mistaken.. Which one is better brutus or bergamask in your opinion? As i still don’t know which one i want to buy first haha

Great to connect Clifford! I would recommend Brutus as a day-to-day fragrance, not a big projector, but an exceptional fragrance for you and for those who come in close contact to you.
The big project there is Bergamask. The whole cafe will know that you’re wearing this⚡️
But if you like the sent profile of Seminalis, then I would go for this one. This is a perfect medium of the other two. Projects pretty well but not at the level of Betgamask, plus it’s a super sexy scent

Ive only tried 2 (I have to blindbuy as there is nowhere nearby smell em at ) Stercus and terroni starting with stercus. Personally i like stercus better . On its own or layered with under my skin by franchesca bianchi

Bought Terroni and still don’t know where to wear it. It’s strong. Tried it at my house, one spray and it just intoxicated the whole house and it kept hitting me so hard I had to wash it out. Even after that I could still smell it hard. All I smell is something very very sweet, can’t smell the smoke. Even my wife said you sprayed something too sweet for my taste. Need help!!!
My top 5, not in specific order: Megamare, Seminalis, Bergamask, Stercus, Terroni. Honourable mention: Viride.

I feel like Brutus and Viride is the same DNA, but one is more suitable for warmer, and one for colder leather.
Viride and Brutus both pop on my skin during summer. Will test drive them over the winter here in the U.S. I wore Viride yesterday without issue during an October afternoon.
Interesting that you find they have a similar vibe Sebastian....I get 2 different scent profiles from these two.
I agree with your use. Brutus is awesome in warmer weather, it actually blooms better on me in heat and yes, Viride is magic in the cooler weather

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Viride is first and foremost patchouli to my nose, with some bergamot, a tiiiiny touch chocolate-y finish, some delicately eucalyptus freshness and, surprisingly, a vanillic, maybe tonka sweet creamy note somewhere in the base. A bit like the After Eight mint filling thin pralines. Brutus is patchouli and citrus, but with different background - more like labdanum woody leathery spicy. Interestingly later in the drydown it seems a bit metallic and incense-y to me.
So to me it smells like a citrus patchouli - one a bit better for warmer days, one a bit better for colder ones :) what do you think?

I love Megamare and Terroni, crazy fragrances. Note of merit for Cuoium. Bergamask fourth place. Now I'm undecided between Viride and Seminalis, I wish it could also be used in summer, which would you recommend between the two?
@@IvanRussogmail If it's for summer, then neither😬 I find that these are too strong for a summer day....the 'musk' and 'oud' are way too strong for me. However for a summer evening as a going out fragrance, then both of them!!! (personally I really love Seminalis as a date fragrance...very sexy)

I have yet to delve into that brand, but if it is nearly as good as Nasomatto, it will be a damn safe bet (PARDON my French [double pun!])

Great question @KidWitDaSkis....but not sure for certain. I know that they are all 'Parfums' so would assume that they would be around the 20%+
I can attest that they are punchy and do have awesome staying power. They vary in degrees when it comes to their sillage....hope that helps👊🏽

Great question and yes, I asked the same question when I first started to test as I have most of the Nasomatto's....in my opinion, 2 different beasts.
Nasomatto is very eclectic and a subtle (if I can use that word with any of Alessandro's creations). I find all the Orto Parisi's have been amped up with musk, woods and oud.....they are all powerful. The only subtle one in the collection is Brutus. The rest slap you in the face!

Different topic, the visual composition of your videos are very well done, but the painting behind your head is too busy. Look a whistlers’s famous painting of his grandma. Yours is similar but with color. Flat. Imagine anchoring the composition with a pollock instead of the edge of a frame with white matting. That is what that painting does behind your head. JUST MY OPINION. It does not change the quality of your content which I really enjoy.

I have megamare, Stercus and my last purchase was viride, I have samples and after using seminalis on my skin I decided to buy a bottle. I fell in love just as I did after the first spray of megamare. this is the aroma of home comfort, closeness, intimacy, I just want to smell it. And definitely the next purchase will be terroni🤤
