Xerjoff is a super quality house and what I think it really makes them special is that they take their notes to another level, for instance.. I own Torino 21 and the mint note really stands out and it lasts 10+ hrs on my skin. Also Naxos is amongst my all time favourite scent.
Gentiluomo gave me my first real respect for the level of perfumery I was dealing with.
The Notes just danced off my skin like no other cologne ever did!
I had no idea that you could get so much depth from a scent!🤯
Nio did the same thing!!
I just ordered a 5ml decant of Richwood. I enjoy the sensation of sandalwood.
And I'm sure I will be blown away again!!
Totally agree with you. Really well constructed, dense characterful compositions. They all smell expensive, even the funny weird ones like Dolce Amalfi and Aurum (from Kemi but not incorporated into the Xerjoff line up). I mean, spicy juicy fruit gum and raspberry hookah smoke never smelled so expensive. Yum. 😊

Hi, I fell in love with Xerjoff fragrances! I currently own 3 now, including La Capitale. On my skin, this does smell more musky. Very different when I tried it on my husband’s skin, but both smelled beautiful. My husband prefers the smell of it on me.
I love Xerjoff. They are packaging is 12 out of 10. I own Tony Iommi for my first purchase for now, but I have Naxos on my radar to purchase next. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us Marcelo.

I discovered your channel and you're an incredible fragrance reviewer. I do own Naxos and my 5and6 year old daughters love the scent also. We have put a very nice dent in the bottle. I just received 40Knots and once again they love the scent also. Very fresh and delicious from floral notes. I do have a question, I own Montale Black Aoud and yes it smells awesome. Xerjoff More than words) is my next fragrance to purchase in March23. My budget has fragrances built in it. Keep going.

New to your channel a few weeks ago. I have a super sensitive but acute sense of smell and am slowly going backwards taking in all of your content to guide me in the right direction. Tomorrow will be my first Xerjoff experience ,during my work break👏🏻👏🏻. As mentioned yesterday, loving the art ; this one’s a SHAG fave of mine 💜💙then you mention the Xerjoff box 😍 and watches ( another fave) and YES, we keep anything classy all together. I’ve only had designer parfum but a lot not quite me;Chanel Coco Noir is my go to but I love the musk and deeper richer notes.
I had a list of JPG to try… as I’m looking for a a first scent for my sporty teenage nephew ; but the end notes just ruined it for me…. nauseating hit of fly spray with a sting, it literally hurt my nose; If that makes sense? Your channel even has Dean interested woohooo , I’m hoping to find something for him. I’ll let you know how my bloodhound nose goes tomorrow . Thank you Marcelo ❤️🧡Stani❤️🧡

Great line up. wife loves Naxos and my favorite is Alexander II. Richwood is on my radar along with Luxor. But all are great.

Naxos is always one of my favorite. Pure class in a bottle. Nio is another great one for hot weather and totally unisex. Lua is a great one for the ladies but is so unappreciated.
Yep, Naxos just works. Easy fragrance to wear and always get a lot of compliments on this one.
Between Nio and Renaissance, I went with the later. I love the green note that comes through on Renaissance. I'm yet to try out Lua....looking forward to checking this one out.

Naxos, smells like sex to me. Its good.
my fave is Pikovaya Dama, but it's so similar to a Russian vintage perfume our granmas had but more like a modern version. Sergio created this as well as more than words and La capitalle ( Moscow) for the Russian market specifically... So as a Russian-born kiwi I love them all.

Marcello after sampling quite a few I ended up picking up Richwood. You're so right it has that wow factor. Will have to save the Oud Stars for my next purchase.

Great stuff Marcelo. I Have a few offerings from this house. Their presentation box included is top notch👌. My favorite right now is Nio over Renaissance because of summer but Naxos hard to beat. Need to get my nose on Alexandria II and 40 knots .Great content as always my friend.

I love fragrances and I watched every second of this video. I currently own 12 xerjoffs and my favorites are Mamluk, erba pura and 40 knots 😋

I'm always happy to see a new video drop from the House of Oillataguerre. However this time around I wasn't expecting a symposium on your choice of Xerjoff fragrances....so thank you for taking the time to explain. As of this writing I don't own any Xerjoff frags but will now right this olfactory wrong as soon as possible.
And a ‘symposium’ it was!! The episode clocked in shy of 30 mintutes😮 While I was preparing I had a feeling that it might do this…but as I mentioned, I didn’t want to rush it; as you’ve most likely noticed, I like to savor things (that’s why I don’t like talking ‘business’ over a meal; lets just enjoy and savor the good food😋)
I love that you’re going to bring balance to the universe and start testing some Xerjoff’s🥳 as I mentioned in the episode, I would recommend to you Naxos as a great starting point and to throw a curve ball at you, check out Renaissance also….this would be a classic summer fragrance for you guys right now…enjoy my friend👊🏽

Stumble upon your channel and best thing ever. I wear A2 as a signature, but my favorite probably is Via Cavour I which I would compare to Nishane's Nefs, but at 40% the price.

*Accento was nice, but I gifted it to a lady friend who really liked it.
*Mephisto
*Mephisto Gentiluomo
I like the latter much more
*40 Knots
*Nio was something else!
I'm eyeing a 50ml of that juice!🔥

You've made me very curious about Richwood, which I never had the chance to smell it. I hope it is a "beast mode" Xerjoff.

Richwood is definitely 'beast mode' in its longevity. It has mid projection, but I promise people will pick up on this fragrance when you're wearing it.
If I had to choose between Don and Richwood...I would go with the later; this is a fragrance to be noticed in. I would be curious to know your thoughts once you've had a chance to test these.

@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I have only tested Don. It has a smell that impressed me. I think I am going to take a little brake from Naxos. Oh, I also have Wardasina, which has a great rose-tabacco combination. Richwood became now a great curiosity for me, thanks to you !
Great video (as usual!). Xerrjoff deserves more than one video as you can look at them from different perspectives. You can add:
1. Renaissance and Nio for the summer
2. Uden for spring
3. 40 Knots for sailing
4. Accento for partying
Please consider a sequel and also cover the other lines like Casamorati.

I can tell you, Lindt is from Germany and even we over here deem it a luxury chocolate. Awsome list btw. I own naxos and recently picked up alexandria II and i absolutely LOVE both of them. I also sampled more than words, uden, starlight and golden dallah. Beautiful house. Alexandria II was definitely not my last xerjoff. It’s just so hard to pick among all those beautiful compositions. Casamorati has some awsome ones, renessance is nice, kobe, uden, accento…
I'm glad that even you guys consider Lindt as luxury chocolate....I love this brand and as mentioned I love the distinct 'Lindt chocolate' scent that their chocolate has.
Congrats on Alexandria II, this is a fragrance that you'll enjoy for your entire life as it continues to mature and macerate in the bottle; the notes become richer, greater depth...recommend that you store it in a cool dark place (not in your bathroom😬)

Iv only tried properly 8 . 40knots is probably my fav , or even Renaissance given the price point .
Don is the perfect ‘gentleman’s fragrance’….I love that it’s a ‘composition’ rather than a fragrance about a note ie tobacco, leather etc. And yes, I’d recommend Richwood to you. I feel that this works exceptionally well as a masculine fragrance (which I know that you like your masculine leaning scents)…..good to hear from you Sean👊🏽

I discovered Xerjoff this winter. It was really cold day outside when my Naxos arrived, I brought it back home and started unpacking.
The packaging… it’s gorgeous. The bottle was cold and it gave very special feeling to it’s beauty, that glass looked frosty and felt that way. The scent was instant love. Then I blind bought Alexandria II (I can’t describe how I love it!) and later another blind purchase - Starlight. Then - Renaissance. Now I’m waiting for 40 knots and Decas to arrive
Xerjoff are my favorites. After purchasing Naxos I started looking at Creed like “wtf is this package, this cap. Why 2 hours longevity?”
I can't help it; I love beautiful smells and I get a bit carried away by them😬

Xerjoff, Casamorati, Sospiro and Kemi combined under the Xerjoff umbrella offer the richest, most varied selection of beautifully constructed fragrances out there-- they're instantly recognisable as highest quality compositions. I'm with you, I love Xerjoff. Whoever their creative director is, I connect to them. There really is something for everybody. The thing I most appreciate about their fragrances is how richly layered they all are. They're the olfactory equivalent of having the colour saturation cranked up in image editing: everything seems thick, layered and rich...defined and sumptuous instead of raspy, insipid and one dimensional. Their fragrances are all so thick and juicy. Duetto, Ivory Route, Aurum, Dolce Amalfi..there are just so many I own and love. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm in this video. What fun!

Unfortunately I don’t know the answer to that. I’m not familiar with the YSL fragrance…sorry.
The closest for me from my collection is Coromandel by Chanel…. Not sure if you’ve had a chance to test this one?
If you get a chance I would recommend test Richwood out you’ll be impressed at how unique this fragrance is.

I know I'm late but this is the first big CZcams fragrance channel that gives The Don some recognition. I just wish instead of spun sugar they would add bourbon vanilla or an amber or guaic wood cuz I don't get any hint of sweetness in this

I have a sample of Naxos. I like it and maby i Will love it. I get a lot of the lavender and the honey what gives a powdery drydown, but i a good way. I almost get no tabacco, what is good for me. From the sample it's beastmode and still van be smelled after a shower hours later. A full bottle must be insane 😜. You are right, you can Deffenitly smells this brand is Quality! Keep up the good work Marcello, i don't always agree, bit that's the beauty of this hobby. Love from Belgium 😎

In direct answer to your question, Torino 21 would be my answer. I haven't experienced LVs Imagination, so don't know it's profile but you can never have too many citrus/vibrant fragrance's (they're perfect for summer but bring happiness in winter)
Plus Torino 21 is really special; glorious fragrance

getting a Xerjoff for the first time. no chance in testing. blind buy. Naxos or Alexandria II? for reference, my current favorites are Nasommato Pardon, Memo african leather and Amouage black Iris. Awesome video man. Im getting married in December and i want to pick one to be my wedding scent. Im trying to decide between Don, Alexandria 2 and Richwood which would you pick out of these 3
Great to hear from you @Stuuubbs 77....are you an Aussie? If yes, then you'll be getting married in Summer and this is important (Alexandria II might too much in the Aussie summer). If you're in the US, then no problems for Alexandria II as the cooler weather will react nicely to this fragrance.
Regardless of weather, I would narrow down to either Don or Richwood (this is because, does your bride/partner like Oud? Alexandria II has a wonderful prevalent Oud note and this might be a sticking point if your partner isn't use to it)
Don is wonderfully masculine, but might be too 'sharp' on the drydown. It does have a slight metalic note in the base that becomes more apparent a few hours in.
My money is on Richwood. It's a beast of a fragrance, so will last the day. It has sweet citrus notes on the opening giving it a wonderful sweet woody drydown (it's magic).
Once you've had a chance to test them out, I'd be curious to know which one you settle on.

When I hear a comment like "I like everything!"....I know that I'm speaking to a kindred soul😎 I make it a point to enjoy something across the entire wheel. It's exciting to be able to train your senses to appreciate a diverse range of fragrance notes.
And yes, I love your suggestion of doing a Floral line up that can work on men. Not sure if you saw some earlier work that I've started in this area? I'm planning to span the wheel and have started with these families first:

The only Niche I got full size by now was Perris de Monte Carlo because is “easier”.
Xerjoff samples unfortunately have a high delivery price (25€), so I’ll wait.

Excellent & informative presentation. Naxos is on my list to purchase but I’m also considering Amouage Jubilation XXV Man. If you were to purchase only one fragrance Marcello, which would you buy? I’m traveling to Washington DC for a family reunion this summer and want to awe & impress. Lol
I personally prefer Naxos. Naxos is also more of a summer fragrance then Jubilation. Naxos is more attention grabbing and lasts much longer on my skin too!
Hey Chris, out of the 2 you mentioned (either Jubilation or Naxos) I would agree with the comments in this thread and go for Naxos. I find that Jubilation will be too strong both because it's summer for you guys, plus being that it's a family reunion, I'm going to say that you will be in close proximity to other family members in a closed environment and Jubilation will just want to push off your body and might be too intense for those around you....plus it has a oud, patchouli and myrrh and each one of these notes are going to be intense (let alone together!)
Naxos, has a very 'morish' scent profile that family members are going to want to be next to you.

This is 'the perfect' summer weather fragrance and is part of the 1861 line up that Naxos belongs to. If you have the money, I would do Renaissance for the day and Naxos for the evening....you'll smell awesome buddy!!!

XERJOF is the only perfume house I am ready to pay that PREMIUM price as it's justify that HEFTY price tags.
When you take a look to the bottles(I am not a person fall just because of packaging)I fell like there is an ARTIST who know what he is doing and carry himself like an ARTIST.
there is no way if you can satisfy each and every person with a single scant profile so you might dislike an aroma because of you are not INTO woody or sweet perfumes but one can never complain about QUALITY and performance about XERJOF.
The perfumers behind it(Christen carbonal)is the 2nd most skilled perfumer after JHON CLUD EALENA (in my book)

Yes, some of these aren't cheap but as you mentioned @NATURE HUB you can smell and experience the artistry that goes into these perfumes...there's no question on the quality that exists with a Xerjoff fragrance; they are a joy to use.

Libertine are no. 1 in customer service. Their custom sample packs are an excellent way to indulge in a few niche fragrances before you lay your hard earned cash down. Marcelo, I can't wait to get back to Melbourne and introduce myself to George at Oligarch. Loved the series you did last winter where you had George on in his incredible showroom and featured around 4 fragrances with certain 'vibes' e.g. smell like money, first impressions etc. Oh perfumes! My new new love! I've already watched multiple CZcamsrs and have found a few goodies like yourself that I relate to how you present information. Go well.
I totally agree that Libertine are the GOAT when it comes to how they support the perfume lover with an abundance of samples...they are SOOOOO generous (plus very clever😉).
And yes, I loved the series that I created with Oligarch; these episodes were fun to create and I feel that they still hold up well.

Saludos, Marcelo! While I have yet to try Richwood and Symphonium, I did try Don and the combination of accords (some say one of the notes is gunpowder) to me smells like dollar bills. Very interesting but for the life of me, I can't shake this idea in my mind of smelling like a stripper showered in cash. 😂 Currently my favorite Xerjoffs are Naxos, 40 Knots, Comandante! Rennaisance and Nio.
As a side note, yesterday I finished my bottle of Channel's Allure Eau Extreme which I bought exactly 2 years ago after much media hype but left me underwhelmed however, and I didn't planned it like this but yesterday I got T. Terenzi's Spirito Fiorentino and it blew my mind. A very masculine take on the BR540 DNA and I reflected for a second on how this mirrors my own scent journey. Going from the mass-appealing, safe offerings to something much more bold and unrestrained by conventionalisms. Insane performance too! Have you tried any other offerings from the house of Terenzi?

In time you'll reach for that classic fragrance that you loved as a younger man, only to spray and wonder if something is wrong with the fragrance because it doesn't have the same magic that you remembered.....?
