Interesting, can you provide more details? I hear so many people saying how robust they are, but I have zero experience with them, other than playing GTF and Pinbrew and that thing was a complete mess. -Nick

@gusphan silly things like having to cut out a chunk of a bill acceptor so it would fit and not hit the ball trough when I closed the door. Having to wire in a t tap to the 110 line coming in past the switch or else their bill acceptor would be on even when the machine is turned off. The cabinet is just slightly too big with the dimensions they picked to fit in the car I use for every other machine so I have to take off the back box. The back box has data and power cables zipped tied and connected to the boards etc on the playfield with no quick disconnects. So to remove the Blackbox you have to clip all the zip ties to take it off for transporting.

There's more examples than that but I hope that helps explain things.

As an operator I have had zero problems with American Pinball games. I have never ending problems with Stern games
      though.

Thing is the American Economy is crashing, so people will be spending less on luxuries like entertainment.
It isn't just pinball, it is billiards, board games, outdoor recreation, movies, video gaming you name it.
If it isn't housing, food, clothing, transportation, tooling, health or any other necessity (and I do mean necessity) nobody will be spending on it. Well there is also drugs, gambling, and other vices but that is more an act of desperation and addiction than necessity.

Using themes in the public domain is the way to go and has the free benefit of nostalgia. And work with a low budget movie producers and drop the machine when the film comes out. Work with A24, Laika, Blumhouse, Amblin

Imagine if when something like M3gan came out they had a machine drop at the same time and could use movie assets, etc. Have a really cool talking m3gan head either as a topper or in the game. Basically work with films like lego does but target smaller studios and up and comers.

There are way smaller production companies to work with as well.

Try and buy spare parts from AP! Out of stock, can’t give you a date when parts will be available.

If i heard you correct, i do not agree AP builds better quality then Spooky. I had the opportunity to play GTF and was shocked how cheap it felt.

Good to know. I think we hear from the community that AP quality is great, but from our limited experience with GTF, it seemed terrible as well. -Nick

There hasn't been a single STERN pin that I have wanted to buy, all the themes they have done do nothing for me. They just can't seem to match the quality of Williams Pins for me. I played Valhalla and It was a really fun game, I would rather have that than a STERN. I also played Toy Story and it was surprisingly fun and I really enjoyed playing it. I just think that STERN has been stale the last 15 years.

I think that pinball should be redemption ticket games too that give out tickets

There is a setting for 'Ticket Dispenser' in the Service Menu.... so I'm guessing this is a thing already?

American economy hasn’t been this good in years!
American Pinball is owned by a HUGE company that isn’t going bankrupt anytime soon.
