Recently discovered you guys. I'm not a military guy at all so I know nothing about tactics but compared to the average gamer who runs around at 90 miles an hour, getting killed every 2 minutes, you guys are an education.
totaly agree i m a Veteran and was playing games mostly Consols and i quit because of the Arcadissh way this all plays out, jumpimg and runing base on points. Glid is the real shit when it comes to realty tactical gaming. And these new cinematic montage makes it pretty damn cool. Keep it up

I've been watching GLID and the guys for a while now and I'm not a military guy either but watching them run. Listening to the comms and watching movement and also gear they use in a particular situation I've gotten way better at my tactical gaming

Keep practicing! Educate and practice until you have a firm grasp on basic movement. Basics are the absolute most important skills.
Gonna start with saying the obvious. You really ante'd up with the intro here. I recognize a number of the members from the community involved with this and I'm honestly a bit jealous I missed out! Everyone played their part and definitely set the stage for the mission that came together.
This one had all sorts of twists and turns. It was handled incredibly well, even with the hazards of the location coming into play. I feel was a good call covering perimeter before moving into the center stairwell and clearing that. I've come to understand you always work the perimeter before going in. That said, dealing with the gaps in the railing and having so many sightlines is terrifying...but thankfully, you got a team together of terrifying badasses. Here's hoping medivac can work a miracle for those who took a bullet. Excellent work securing the rig.

I'm a military brat and have no illusions that I can come close to understanding exactly what you and other armed service members go through during your enlistments, but I can feel the level of pride you and the people who assist you with these videos have in your service and I appreciate how you attempt to immerse the viewer and simulate what real military operations look and feel like. Loved It Brilliant!!!! Wondering if Chopper wasn't given that directive to exit door frame at that moment and did so on his on flow would enemy have gotten that surprise spilt sec drop on him.
Rule number 1 is never stand in an open door, it frames you as a target he should do what I did and pushed to LUDI's right flank and wingman him meaning two muzzles downrange not one then I would have pushed further right behind cover and held the six / right flank. He is a VERY experienced military guy from an Air Corps (PILOT) background so refreshing himself on all the infantry tactics is easy for him. This was his first OP with us every one is learning curve!!

I love the way you come up with plausible scenarios for these videos, and roleplay the interactions with civilians etc. Sets it apart a bit from some of the other 'tactical gaming' channels out there.

Great intro! Gotta say, I've never seen something quite like that - establishing the brutality of the opposing force (and all done via cctv, no less), which helps put some color to an otherwise nameless threat. Brilliant idea.
Excellent game play, as usual. It's fascinating seeing the team adapt to the environment, especially to the tragic loss of comrades. The stark command that there's no longer two teams, there's only one stack now... that's a critical make-or- break moment. A challenge the team was clearly up for...
... which makes that final loss all the more painful.
