The only other tools I have in my kit are a 7mm and 8mm spanner to lend to all my Vespa mates who don't bother to carry any tools. 😎

Great vid Rob! Spring puller for the exhaust springs and center stand spring bar are handy items. Tire pressure gauge, “On the Lam” clutch cable tool, and a flashlight have saved me a bunch too!

Yeah! Light is important but it doesn't get dark here in the summer.

You used to be able to get a combined plug and wheel nut spanner.
    Wouldn't mind one of those

I’d like to add Rob. There are some dodgy spark plugs out there. Might be worth taking a spare you have tested. Even though you have what you thought was new and working. Thanks for all your tips bud!

I’ve just bought some casa pipe on the back of this. As for spares I take enough for a complete engine rebuild 😀. I always take a spare spare. Because if you use one you then haven’t got a spare. Plus I’ve got spare if a mate needs one. I’ve been caught out on that before. Lent my spare. Then I’ve broke down and needed it 🤣

I carry pretty much the same as you Rob but I include a flashlight and spare headlight and tail/brake light bulbs

Flashlight is smart (it doesn't go dark here in the summer) I don't carry bulbs because I can get hold of h4 bulbs almost anywhere here. I do however carry a spare cdi on the s1 which has "normal" 12v ac system. The vape cdi's tend not to pack up. (famous last words 🤣)

Lambrettas have an undeserved reputation for being unreliable.
Back in the sixties me and my mates went on loads of trips and always got home ( once minus an exhaust in my case) .
Poor maintenance and sub standard parts are often to blame along with people doing tuning work without upgrading everything else.

Ever used the Iridium spark plugs, they seem to make a difference especially on starting.
