Rakic talks about this fight as if he got robbed off of a landslide win. It was a very close fight. He was unsuccessful on takedown attempts, his leg was swollen, he was moving back mostly. He landed more shots but Volkan's kicks were hurting him clearly. Rakic could've won the fight but he also could've lost it. It was not a totally convincing performance from either side.
On the global scorecards most pundits gave volkan round 2 and round 3 due to the leg kicks and short hooks. I scored it a draw due to the kicks and the later round but Rakic definitely was better with the hands and the counters when volkan came in.
