He is spot on, about everything. Almost all of the crap that general society talks and cares about is very different when you are inside. I don’t know him but I have talked to him hundreds of times. I was an investigator/gang guy/Lieutenant for 26 years.

@@cankhovich1796 Thank you for asking. Towards the end of my career I was involved in re-entry. We did many simulated job interviews with inmates. While doing this the inmates figured out that they just wanted a chance. They knew it was uphill but they needed someone to take a chance on them. So many of them wanted to hit the “easy button” and spring back into society. If that didn’t work they did the easy thing and went back to their old ways. Which led them back to prison. Everyone has marketable job skills. Even someone who has never worked before. I always started by telling them to change their environment. When they looked at me confused, I would then say, “Would any of your people sell drugs to me?” They would look at me shocked and say NO! So why should they want to sell to you? Change your environment. That starts with your mindset and the people you surround yourself with. I could go on and on about this subject. I have many stories, and a real passion for re entry. My youngest son figured out over my 26 years I was around 6.5 million convicted felons. I never looked at them as anything other than khaki (the color of their uniform) all of them were the same to me. Everyone had committed a crime, they were convicted and if they wanted to become a productive citizen I mentored them.

I really like this guy but at the very least he's embellishing a LOT. Hes a good story teller and he's pretty smart, you can tell he has read a lot in his life and is able to retain the information. By chance though I've actually gone through a lot of the stuff he talks about and there are alot of things that he says where i would bet a lot of money he read about something in a book, kinda understood it and adapted and integrated it into his story but it doesnt make sense cuz he doesnt know about a certain nuance. For example, when he talks about finding the $180k in the mattress he says there were ~180 stacks of $1000 each. That's fricken ridiculous. A stack of $100s is almost always going to be around $20k at least. Think of the size of a stack of 10 bills, who would bother to band that? Like, you could literally just make 4 or 5 thick stacks. It's also strange that the stacks are so uniform which leads me to another point. His inclusion of details doesnt tell you that hes being honest, it is a hallmark characteristic of deceptive behavior. His details are also very precise and at times strange, it seems as if he has a photographic memory at times when summoning trivial details but that could just be embellishment. I want to believe his stories are just an extremely embellished recanting of his actual exploits but at what point does embellishment become a lie? I mean honestly, this guy could very well be a well meaning tall tale teller but he shows a lot of signs of deceptive behavior and he has either told these stories many times or is just a really smooth talker and good liar. Just some food for thought, I really like the guy but I've caught enough little lies in this and his other videos to cast aspersions on everything he said.

Mark, your interviews are the most fascinating and interesting content on YT. The way you humanise some of these individuals that sadly, I would have never given a second look at, let alone think about listening to their story, is incredible. You have changed the way I see people and I am happy to say, I am no longer quick to judge someone based on their looks or demeanor. Thank you.

A brilliant man wrestling with his own self, just too smart for his own good. If he was strong enough to submit himself to wise mentors to recalibrate his compass he could be a beast. A great, kind beast. He could accomplish great things and lead others to do the same. He could be a real live Superhero

Mark-- Thank You for interviewing Repeat. At 66yrs old my anxiety goes straight up when he talks about about parts of his life!! Thank God he's still alive! No one that walks this earth can judge any of us. He is straight forward with his thoughts And THAT is refreshing. He is right-- Children are not born hating it's taught. And We All Bleed Red, regardless of our color. Take care Mark and Repeat-- this world is a crazy place.

this guy has a humility and brilliance about him that is very appealing. makes me so sad how much human skills and potential are used for the "bad" solely based on what circumstance one is born into. If he was born in the wealthy suburbs hed a been a true success on the "clean" side.

Wow! 😳 Did anyone else notice his knuckles were huge! I wonder if that comes from fighting or angrily punching things.🤔 Repeat is a great storyteller. I definitely believe him. The amounts of money may have been exaggerated, but I doubt it because dealers don’t use banks.🤷🏾 I believe today he would of been diagnosed with conduct disorder. Back then I guess he was mama’s wild child.🤦🏾‍♀️ Definitely had the potential for something greater. But I want to know more of his background, how he grew up, did he finish high school, any substance use or exposed to substance use as a child etc...

That’s a great question. I should probably do an Q & A with the list of questions I’ve been compiling. Without much thought, SB, who tells stories that make you feel like you’re in the street gang with him. Playing two or three different characters at once, his talks are pure genius in my opinion. Alisha’s emotional testimonies are so moving. Ziggy and Luna, the porn actresses who courageously opened up so beautifully. Niqi, whose combination of intelligence and vulnerability is unmatched and of course, Evelyn, whose mind is pure magic. I love every single person you see on my channel. These are just the first ones I came up with. To me, they’re all amazing. Every one.
The most meaningful videos for me would be the talk I did with Jerry about forgiveness in part 2 of his series of videos. The first video with Caroline, which started this whole idea for me will always be the most important one I ever shoot. I just was playing around with a video camera with her and it turned into this channel.

@@SoftWhiteUnderbelly Thank you so much for the response! I figured it would be a challenging question to answer because of how much I personally enjoy each video. I love the idea of you making a Q&A video to see more from your end of this video series. The collection has been incredibly eye opening, humbling, and a wonderful source to see how human we all are. I highly appreciate both the speakers and your effort that goes into their creation. Besides the channels that are helping me with my computer science studies, this is by far one of the most important channels I've discovered on this platform, and I can't thank you enough for sharing them with us all. When I have the funds you will be the first patreon subscription I will aid.
