Gakpo was terrific. He is extremely agile and skillful, despite being a tall lad. Always dangerous, despite many areas he needs to improve in. Deserved Motm.
Also loved Gravenberchs second half response after people were shouting for him to be substituted at ht. Give him time ffs. He is by no means the end product and he clearly has massive talent alongside all the physical attributes to succeed with adaptation. Glad, that he finally got a start.
When Nunez and Salah got on though, we looked clumsy upfront again. Like seriously, I hoped my initial stance on the Nunez transfer to be proven wrong but I am honestly sick of his terrible and overhasty attempts at times.
It is so frustrating, since his physical stats are exceptional, his attitude so likable and his positioning very good at times, however, he simply lacks the skill and technique on the ball to be at our level.
Hope Klopp learns from this and starts somewhat similar mid-week.
I thought Endo had a great second half
At half time we had not scored a goal from open play in over six hours at half time our midfield three were woeful, with Elliott showing he is just not at the level required for Liverpool FC, improved 2nd half but take away fantastic free kick from Trent, Gravenberch top strike and Jotta goal there keeper has to save, yes improved performance but still long way off from being good enough.
Thank god Jones didn’t start. His loyalty has caused us many games and opportunities to win trophies..
Definetly agree Curtis Jones not good enough to play Liverpool FC, just runs around like headless chicken, no sense of positional play always passing the ball backwards putting us under unnecessary pressure.
Gravenberch might have scored but the midfield was awful
Exactly! I'm happy for Ryan and it was a beautiful goal! But overall this midfield didn't create anything. Fulham just let us walk the win home. It was individual performances (Trent, Ryan) at two moments that decided the game and far away from a solid team performance. Jotas goal was also nice to see, finally someone who can score those chancea
About Lucho, he is a professional footballer, he is very happy in Liverpool; sometime we see football teams as a reference when we were kids, but that does not mean that he want to go to Barcelona; but to be honest he deserves a better pay, he has showed plenty of times that he is a world class player; it is not possible that the second goalie is making more than him with all due respect. And by the way what his father said is irrelevant at this point, he was talking about when Lucho was a kid he wanted to go to Barcelona, who wouldn't be there and play with Messi?

Feel marks were on the generous side, but Elliott was not deserving of 6/10, for me has to be 5/10, and yet again showed he is long way of being a starter, at very best he is a impact sub.
Craig loves Elliot but the truth is he is not good enough for Liverpool fc especially in midfield. Gives the ball away easily not physically strong enough to play midfielder

@@yamkelamampoza7510 because they always take forever to release the pass, many times there are chances for through balls he makes the runs and no pass…this is why our attack is ineffective sometimes, slow in the build up, predictable, take too long on the passes, too much side to side passes

Gakpo and Nuñez have been flip flopping positions from praise to hated the whole season. Seems like whenever Nuñez is up, Gakpo is down and vice versa.

I would add at least one point to everyone's score except Gakpo and Darwin. Gakpo was an 8, not a 9, and Darwin was a 3 or 4... Where is Danns? I went from wanting to give Darwin a chance to wanting him as a super-sub to never wanting to see him on the pitch again...

Elliott is a squad player and there is nothing wrong with that, but he will never be a regular starter if he doesn't play better than this. I still feel that injury halted his development somewhat, he was brilliant before breaking his foot
Hopefully it won't affect his future career as he is talented he is young and has lots to learn so will reserve judgement on him
Haven’t seen Harvey play well against Fulham yet. Seems like the fans get to his head and he does too much.
Decent result, the marking was terrible on the Castagne goal, Gakpo & Jota were close to him and neither went with him, he had acres of space to hit a loose ball, not quite at our best but we needed the 3 pts.
jota wasn't really in the game but he had one great chance and took it, we can only imagine what would have happened if that was darwin.. him and gakpo have to start against everton imo

Gravenberch should have been playing in the team before today he has lots to offer hadn't had much game time the last month when we needed players to step up. Good to see him score and also both jota and trent back scoring.

It wasn't the most beautiful football every played by his team, but it was good to be winning again. Gakpo looked good picking up deep positions and driving with the ball at defenders. I don't think he fits our team stile if we are trying to play balls over the top, but in a more patient attack, I think he is solid. Gravenberch, despite the goal, is a little too nonchalant for me. I personally don't think he had a great game. There were a few times I saw him trotting back when Fulham were on the break down our left side. I also think he holds onto the ball too long, but if Gravenberch can adjust to the pace of the prem, he has all the technicals to be a good player. Salah and Darwin weren't great when they came on and I think they should continue to come off the bench. I think our backline apart from the mess of the goal were good. I wish we could remove those sloppy moments from our defense.

I don"t understand why but Robertson has been shockingly underrated in recent games. Gakpo is coming around, but other than him coming around, the only players that have been playing well recently is Robbo, Diaz and of course Alexis. Endo has been up and down, same with Elliot. Bradley been playing well. Szoboszlai, Nunez and Salah have been nightmares in recent games.

Elliot only ever looks good when he comes off the bench. Every time he starts he is poor which is slightly worrying. Also Szobozslai's passing is awful he gives away the most easiest passes it's like he isn't concentrating and he has been doing it an awful lot in the second half of the season and for me he should be on the bench and not starting because he has been very poor after a few good games at the start of the season.

Trent great with his passing. But twice he stood there looking at a Fulham throw in, with a Fulham player standing behind and twice the ball was thrown to that player. His defensive awareness is very, very poor, either that or he's lazy when it comes to defending. School boy stuff not getting goal side.
Gakpo far better on the left which is his natural position. Signing players and playing them in positions they aren't used to should stop. Square pegs in round holes.

Gravenberch was rubbish most of the game, was hiding and lost out on numerous challenges, took his goal well but apart from that people wanting him to start in a rough, tough Merseyside Derby need their head read.

It was a bang average performance all over the park for majority of the game today 7s at best for them all.
Nunez is never going to be a great central striker, his first touch is awful positional sense awful, he doesn't have the intelligence to play the central striker role, put him out on the wings he will cause problems but not a central striker this should be more than obvious by now, yet Klopp keeps playing him there.
