China maybe not the place for me but I like your adventures; good video.
those in green are not military, they are armed police. as for why they wear green, many of their unit were form during military downsizing, it was view cheaper to just form the unit out of retired soldier still using the same uniform and equipment than to rearmed and reattire new units. of course that was almost 50 years ago, today the armed police are well funded enough to have their own uniform but many unit keep their green attire for heritage reasons.
Well Singapore/Malaysia/Qatar aren't western countries, they still reveal the economic problems in China.

That Chinese flag in Shanghai must be very huge because it looks like it's on the other side of the river.
The Chinese government needs to pay this man. He actually does a good job showing off China and makes foreigners like me want to go visit.
He is doing the right job as a truth teller, you could go to Shanghai to shoot the opposite if you thought there was any.
The Chinese government will not pay any vlogger a penny, but of course it may invite you to travel or participate in events

And that's the least i feel they could do for an African vlogger ,given how much Africa and Africans have given them. Also ,I don't see any Chinese vloggers going around Ghana or anywhere in Africa showing all the great parts ,so why not employ the man . Because if you ask a lot of westerners about China,they have a very different perception of China and Chinese people. I can assure you it's not the China that thisbman shows in his videos. One particular Chinese girl I befriend told me many terrible things about China and the people. Things like people selling their children or how a lot of Chinese are heartless,keep in mind she is Chinese and lived their most her life. She was the sweetest person,so I didn't understand why she hated her country and her own people so much . Her perspective became my own for a long time until I came across this vloggers videos. And now I see that there are many people like my friend and I shouldn't think like she did.

Thanks very much Fel for this video on Shanghai, so vibrant, diverse...an exciting place. I've never been to Shanghai ...the only places I've been are Zhuhai and Shenzen. I watched the Shenzen blog yesterday, didn't even see the sea where you can see HK across the other side. Tours are so brief...more like sleeping, breakfast, bus trips then off the next day.
I like how so many people approach you to chat, take pictures, they want to get to know you. And you're amazing with your Mandarin, you interact well and yours eyes smile and you're so sincere.

Shanghai is not Shenzhen , Shang hai has been the center of the Asia since 1920s , nothing about a village. It’s a city funded in 1291 , over 732 years. Shen zhen was a fish village back to 1970s then
only Shanghainese complain and whine like this. Let it go villager.
The fishing village is a self-deprecating term. Shenzhen originally had 300,000 people. Now there are 20 million people there.

I had no idea Shanghai was like this. It looks so different from Beijing and Guangzhou.
I loved China. I loved Shanghai. Before any of you criticise China based on USA's Anti China bill ... visit China to see the truth.
On the 9th of June 2021, USA passed a bill, 68 votes to 32, known officially as the 'US Innovation and Competition Act'. In Washington it is colloquially known simply as the “anti-China bill”. Part of the Bill involves allocating $300 Million a year, for 3 years, media trashing China.
