There's the Irish flyhalf succession plan. Slotting kicks, making brave calls and finding touch (embarrassing that that one even needed to be pointed out) but he'll never play for Ireland again.

@@chichim2020 Exactly. I see Carberry as a 15/ utility who didnt need to go to Munster but rather gain from understudying with Sexton at Leinster. Jackson made comments that the LGBTQ elements and more butch feminists protesting outside the courthouse make about their friends every single day of their lives. Irish rugby still hasn't recovered from this madness.

So you get bonus points for four tries irrespective of whether you win or lose? Doesn't this risk a situation one day where it's convenient for both teams just to exchange for tries at the start of the game? Perhaps one team needs it to win the league and the other to qualify for a European competition.

The problem with that is twofold:
      1. Who is lauding his off field behaviour as an example to children?
      2. If that's the standard, then pro sports isn't for children... alcohol abuse, divorce, drugs, violence etc is all rife in pro sports players. Them being so young, with too much money, and fame will always mean most of them make bad decisions! It doesn't help when others want part of that or to exploit them!

OP: There was a lack of evidence such that the jury could not believe the story. One of the most important revelations during the case was that one of the girl's friends came into the room during the alleged goings-on, and she was asked to join in by the boys (...join in on a rape?) but she left. She said that what was transpiring in the room looked consensual, and the "victim" did not ask for her help. this was one of the worst moments in the case for the complainant.
The complainant followed one of the players upstairs to a bedroom twice, and at no point was held down or was made to feel threatened, even by her own admission.
The feminist narrative was that any regret or shame that she felt afterward was enough to make it a police matter.
