My mother agrees with their dismissal. Good enough for me

The IRFU know they were found not guilty. Thats not what its about.
Its about their attitude and the way they objectify women. Its mostly about the people they should themselves to be on text.

Barbara 1 What are you talking about Barbara. The message showed everyone that they are just normal lads. Previously people might have thought that they were weird, out of touch, privately-educated misfits. We can see now that they are just normal lads.

Rugby players have a reputation anyway, those girls new what they were in for as do all teenage age girls that try to bag a football player. They seek revenge when they get dumped, simple as!!!!

@Glenna Smith How would lads speaking in the manner that Jackson, Olding and their friends did about the events of that night and the women involved constitute their being "lower than stray dogs"? I'm not really interested in hearing about how your biases about lads are confirmed by 2 year old CZcams comments.

If you bring the game of Rugby into disrepute and taint associations, especially ones bringing large amounts of money in, then guess what .......
    Rape - Not guilty.
Being arseholes (allegedly) by public behaviour ...........
    Your call.

The vast majority of Ulster Rugby fans are disgusted by the IRFU and Ulster Rugby’s betrayal of these innocent players. Protests outside stadium by a handful of “feminist” groups does not reflect overall opinion.

I assume Connor Murphy and Simon Zebo contract should be ended after they were with a girl few years ago and the banter that ensued from that? Actually why doesn't every private conversation in a whatsapp group get published from every player in every sports and that way we can see how everyone behaves and talks in private and punish them accordingly. That will weed out any immoral thought or throwaway remark held by any player and we can guarantee those of only the purest intentions are representing Ireland. Not guilty is secondary to the inner depraved minds of these toxic men.

I heard rumblings that the Ulster Rugby faithful are after a new Director... Harvey Weinstein is available. I'm sure Kevin Spacey would make an excellent head of Youth Development too (Neither have been found guilty of any crimes either). Might as well go all out and give the poor lads their contracts back and try to attract pornhub as a sponsor for next season!

Combat Enthusiast it was a reductio ad absurdum comment meathead.
I actually thought it was would be more spineless to sit back and say nothing rather than try to make a point i believed in.
If those cretins are going to affect potential sponsorships and sulley the proud reputation of Ulster Rugby then good riddance... Maybe the next crop of players will realise the privilidged position they have as proffesional sports stars and hold themselves to a higher standard.

Not guilty by a unanimous verdict. What right have the IRFU to interfere with grown Adults and their sexual preferences. A few years ago they would probably have thrown out a player who admitted to being homosexual. Who is running the game the sponsors or the IRFU.

they were an embarrassment to them selves at best. it was their choice too act as thy did -who would want them as employees -the IRFU acted as employers do.

You think the sponsors should run the game i just do not understand this. What is the relevance of whether i have a daughter or sister? But for your info if it helps yes i have 3 lovely daughters and a wife.

mcr1jp How are they tainted by their social media messages? We can now see that they are just normal lads and not a pair of weird, insulated private-school educated misfits, like so many who go to those schools are.

mcr1jp If my sister or daughters falsely accused people of rape i would be upset with them. Just an accusation can ruin a man's life.

I respect bods opinion, but he needs to respect his own perspective.Frankly it is none of his business, nor the critics in the south.
