What a beautiful old truck. I love it that he’s got such a passion to restore them! Beats all this new garbage they’re building nowadays.

I recall 1960 when stepped to my first Cummins powered tractor. It was a 1950's 2 axle Kw doubles tractor with a 220 updated from a 200 single discpumper. what a surprise todays trucks are compared to the older equipment

There’s ONLY 1 thing that I don’t like about this rig! It’s not in my driveway! I have a 51 REO that would love to park next to it! I can understand the need to get out on the road...when it gets into your blood, there’s only one way to take care of it, get in it and GO! Great interview! I’ve loved trucks since about 5 years old, and I’m much older than that now. My 1st taste was a 1965 K100 cabover and then my 1st love was the 51 REO wrecker at age of 7. It’s been in my blood since then! 🥰

Big power demands larger pipes. It isn’t that much about looks, it’s about efficiency for the engine.

Hey Big guy.. I'm Michael .. I started when I was 15 going to work with my dad on weekends and power washing and greasing in general caring for the equipment sure I built my share of 70 Cudas with 440 6 pack big block chevelles even a few Big block Chevy GTOs but my favorite truck was dads Mack super liner with the 8v92 we pulled from some American Lafrance fire truck it was the 8V92 TS motor weve had a Brockway with A 12V71 ..we used the Brockway to pull heavy equipment .. I learned how to drive a U model mack with NO power steering ..Once its in your blood your pretty much screwed..
