Very similar to the Ortega Volk fight. Ortega had some good moments on his feet and some really dangerous submission attempts that were several centimeters, degrees, or seconds from finishing the fight, but Volk dominated every round. Same with Nunes in the rematch.

I almost broke my TV when she kept staying in Peñas guard! She was good on G&P but almost got caught in a arm bar and triangle multiple times!!! She Dominated on the fee so I don’t know why she didn’t just keep it there….. maby she gassed a bit but I honestly thought she was gonna get caught!!
Ego. she definitely wanted to prove she can dish it out on the ground as well as the feet. Her doing this shut down any chance of a trilogy IMO and was maybe her intention as well, though I still think it was ego. She's a hard fight and has insane durability and by shutting her down both on the feet and on the ground there's not really much of a chance Dana, Sean, or the other guys will suggest a trilogy.

i dont think it was one sided at all ..Amanda got knockdowns only because Pena was to one coming forward and she was mad off balanced Pena never got hurt really. And as for the takedowns ..Pena was the one putting is the offensive work with the subs etc.

Those submission attempts from Peña just never ended had me on my seat the whole fight but apart from those attempts which she never got success out of Amanda totally dominated
Very similar to the Ortega Volk fight. Ortega had some good moments on his feet and some really dangerous submission attempts that were several centimeters, degrees, or seconds from finishing the fight, but Volk dominated every round. Same with Nunes in the rematch.

It’s crazy how Juliana Peña was Amanda’s toughest fight.
There’s no question that right hook made Peña rethink things.
You could see. After the 2nd knockdown. Its like pena wanted to still walk foward and pressure but was balled up leaning back scared to get hit again. Looked very uncomfortable in there. Almost like you could see her confidence draining. What a dog tho
