Jau tolles Stück, einer meiner Lieblingssongs!! This song's one of my favourites by Can, they were awesome. I like this video and saw it uncountable times. Thanks!!
Is there an album that includes this version ? Or is it only on a DVD or something ? I'd very much like to listen to it otherwise than 15 times a day on youtube :P It is far... wilder ! than the Soundtracks' studio take. A whole lot of thanks for the upload !
@Plexpara He's on three actually and part of the Soundtracks record so 3 1/2, I suppose. It also has Malcolm Mooney who left. Soundtracks, Tago Mago, Ege Bamayasi, and Future Days.
@Plexpara Damo actually sang on 3 full albums and parts of others - all of Tago Mago, Ege Bamyasi, and Future Days, along with some tracks on Soundtracks and the parts of the live albums. And while he's not the original vocalist, he is probably my favorite - Mooney is awesome as well, but as Tago Mago is my favorite album of all time I've gotta tip the scales in favor of Damo.
It's whatever you make it to be. That's the way with music. It is so subjective that there is no good or bad music. It is down to whether you like it or not. What one person thinks is an amazing piece, another may consider it to be a hideous cacophony. Just listen, open your mind and hope it speaks to you.
a lot metalheads are just idiots, they're always trying to be tr00 and become ridiculously blind. I'm a metal fan myself (in fact, death metal is by far the genre I most listen to). However I'm proud of being an open minded guy, and lately Can has become one of my favorite bands, true visionaries and artists. As for the scale guy, you just showed how you don't know shit about this band, we're talking about an experimental rock act... As for melo-death, Intestine Baalism rules! \o/ :P
who cares if you do drugs or not. who cares if you are a SERB or from IRAN or JUPITER. who cares if you are orthodox, hetheronox or an orthonodonotronix. just enjoy the can.

Englische Kritiker schrieben, "Can- das Beste , was je vom Kontinent gekommen ist" - dem ist nichts hinzu zu fügen!!

WDR rules
what kind of fx pedals is Karoli using to get that harrowing fuzz sustaining sound?
You should drop and worship these guys. They had more talent and imagination than any of them deathmetal shits can come up with.
I don't know quite what this is - not sure if I like it or not, is it amazingly good or just bad?

Also Bel Air, Future Days, Up to the bakerloo line..... Ege Bamyasi... so many others - excellent Band
The crowd looks like they fucking hate it! lol
The studio version is a little better, I think. This is still nice though.
can wasnt the first

@blixaps:
damo do not much to the band can.he just sing on 1 album.he is not the original singer of can.
ha! the crowd is so confused. goodness, they're way ahead of their time. they might even be ahead of our time.
They were precisely OF their time. I know; I was there.
Can are great, but this is not a good example, sorry.
wow, und wie das publikum ausflippt^^ manche mukke kam einfach zu früh und is jetzt einfach zu alt *g
While CAN is one of my favourite bands, I have to say Tago Mago is one of their weakest records.
