    I've put about 15000 miles on my 400, I've had it for I think 2 years now and I try and ride every chance I get, and I'm still not bored with it. Every time I thought I needed more power the bike would prove to me I really didn't. the things a blast and is pretty good at wheelies even . I've only had about one issue with it, and that would be the clutch springs. The original clutch springs were a little weak and caused my clutch to slip only after about 5000 miles. It wasn't a big issue at all, though. i just upgraded the clutch spring for about $30, and the clutch was better than ever. It even gave the clutch a little stiffer feel, not much though. I'd love to add the oil Indeed, does get dark crazy fast.

      @FishOnTV (Jarod Valenti) I'm a bit late to respond, but if you haven't picked yet, I would definitely recommend the 400. I can't say if the rebel is fun or not, I haven't riden one before. But I almost guarantee there is a lot more to learn on a ninja or z400 they are light reactive and very fast for a first bike. I really do think you would get bored of any other bike before you got bored of the ninja. I really do see myself owning it for as long as I'm able to. When I upgrade, I don't see myself getting rid of it.

    Oil is supposed to go black It tells you that it's working plus you have to remember your oil in your bike not as much as your motor but also it lubricate transmission and your clutch so is doing double duty don't worry about oil turning black that means it's actually working Don't compare your car to your bike because they're two different animals

  • @mylordass8120
    @mylordass8120 Před rokem +5

    You got remember not only is the engine oil for the internals of the engine but also gearbox and clutch plates, that's why it gets dark faster.
    I change my oil every 5,000 Kms or earlier if I've done a couple of track days.

    Im a begging. I got the 400 2023 for 2 months, 500 miles and get bored to fast, Its a great bike, I learn a lot. but if you wanna catch speed more fast , is better with the 650. Now I have the 6R, im really happy with that one. Its a big big difference. if you are a begging, if you never ride before, I don’t recommend 6R.

      For a beginner, I would recommend sticking with the 300/400 for at least 1-2 years. Way more forgiving and you will learn a lot faster not trying to kill yourself with the speed and bigger brakes. If you're a spirited rider, I would not recommend the 650 due to the plush suspension (I have owned both). Ask any seasoned racer/fast-rider and they will say the same. I'm happy to elaborate if anyone is interested. I have a 400 and never plan to sell it. Even in stock form, it's pretty solid.

    “If get bored of this, you’re really not a good rider.”
    I don’t wanna be rude, but you got absolutely massive chicken strips on that rear tire. You dunno what you’re talking about in terms of being good or bad. You’re still in beginner stage.

      the less of your tire you use the better of a rider you are.

    For me the bike makes me smile. Also why do you want power you can't use without losing your license. The other big factor is the extra expense. 🥷🥷
